There's a camp stove, maybe we can cook food.

Its most likely going to be just a furniture item and nothing less.

Though, if you could make dishes in this game, I bet the way you cook food will have the same energy as you cook curry in Pokemon Sword/Shield.

Minus the berries.

It'd be cool if you could cook food and gift them to villagers to increase friendship faster or drop the created food in your home to use as furniture like with the birthday cake and others. I don't think I'd like if they added a hunger meter to Animal Crossing just for the purpose of making use of the consumables, but maybe they'll find a way to make it fun, who knows? If you can gather different items and get recipes from villagers to create unique types of food like in Harvest Moon or Rune Factory that'd be even cooler, but I'm not expecting it to happen, either.

Ohh. yeah. You could have a recipe app on your phone - if you interacted with a cooking item it would bring up the app, and you could see what ingredients you have/need and what you can/cant make.

I don't really think we can actually cook. Looks for me like a normal item we can place outside. To cook would be neat but if I look at other games where we can cook I hate it. I hate it in every single game mostly because we need to gather ingredients and stuff ^^*
