If I could make one suggestion to the dev team to add in another update, it would be the option to send mail to friends without needing to visit each other first.
Especially with the save corruption glitch happening over multiplayer, I feel much more comfortable with sending mail to friends. It may not be as much fun, but it`s also a reliable method of interacting and it`s more likely to work if one or the other is experiencing connection problems. Unfortunately, it appears the only way to send mail to someone is by becoming friends with them in-game. And that only becomes possible after there is a visit.
So they really should let us send mail to people whose friend codes we have registered. Or heck, even have a Dodo code / island code specifically for mail. If we could do that, then I could easily interact with my friends and give them gifts over nice letters. Who doesn't like getting nice letters that people took the time to write? Or do trades over mail without the hassle of needing to visit or host. If nothing else it'd give me peace of mind until when/if they fix the save corruption glitch.
