Things Kids Thought Were Cool

I, honest to god, thought the "emo kids" in school were so cool and mature. Hot Topic was like this exotic store where like drugs and alcohol happened or something but then in high school I ended up in there because my friend needed to buy her sister these Doctor Who socks for her birthday and when I looked around I was like "this place is just filled with graphic tees and skittles suspenders what"
 
Heelys. I had a pair when I was in primary.

Also Match Attack cards, those weird finger skateboard things and football.
 
Lol a lot of the things listed in other posts are very similar to what was popular in my middle school :p

- Sillybands
- Wearing no coat when it's freezing outside
- Buying Mr Noodles for lunch at the minimart down the street
- Razor scooters xD
- Erasers shaped like food (I can't remember what they were called)
- Uggs and Abercrombie
- Watching "R-rated" movies
- Having a phone
- Rainbow loom (was this a huge trend for anybody else?!)
 
sleeping late & not following main stream things. like first of all i wish i got the time to sleep that i had back then, and not being mainstream doesn't make you any cooler lol
 
Razor scooters will always be cool, even as an adult!

...right? Please tell me I'm right, I use mine to commute to work S.O.S
 
- Matching outfits with your best friend. Can you imagine if adults did that?
- Paper fortune tellers (Google it if you don't know what I'm talking about)
- Developing a "signature" style of handwriting
- Having a boyfriend or girlfriend in elementary school but never even talking to them
- Hair ribbons in your ponytail

I was a kid in the 90s, so if these sound dated... lol
