Thoughts on Avery?

I’m looking for a cranky villager. Chief and Fang are my dreamies but I ran into Avery on my very first tour.
I’d just like to hear opinions on him:> I know in the end of the day I have to decide myself but Rn I really don’t know if I like his design or not haha
