[Time-Travel Warning] Glitch - House exterior is that of old villager??

I was time-travelling to get another villager out, so that I could move Kiki in from a friend, but in the midst of it I got Ankha in the campsite. I love her and really wanted her someday, so of course I'd let her move in! She kicked out Zucker, but when I TT'd back to the present day, she had moved in and still had Zucker's hut exterior, not her cute yellow house exterior. If it was anything but the hut, I really wouldn't care.. LOOL

I've been made aware that it glitched because I didn't move forward one day at a time to move her in, but instead jumped way too many days. So I have a few questions..

1) It seems that the only way I can get her proper house is by moving her out and then back in, but..
2) Is there a void cycle in New Horizons? Will I have to cycle through a certain amount of villagers before she can come back? Or can I just put her on a friends island and move her back right away?
3) Has this ever happened to anybody else? Did their house ever return to their normal design?

1. Yep, that's correct.
2. There's no void cycle. The easiest thing to do is just move her in and out from a friend's island immediately.
3. This is a well-known glitch, so yeah, lots of people have seen it. The house won't return to normal without doing the above. If you do the above, then the house will return to normal. The glitch only affects the island of the campsite, so even just moving the villager to a new island will fix the glitch, and once the villager moves back, they will also have their normal house.

This glitch actually occurs when you miss the "plot sold" day. TTing backwards, TTing forwards but skipping the plot sold day, or just playing naturally but not loading the save on that day will cause the glitch. TTing isn't the true cause; not seeing the plot sold day is the cause.

This happened to me with Raymond, and no, there was no way for me to return it to normal without making him move out. I let my friend hold him and then they TT'd to get him in boxes and I moved him back to my island. That fixed the glitch.
