is it safe to time travel backwards? i'm like 2 months ahead now and want to get back in real time, but i don't want to lose any villagers. is it possible anyone will move out?
You will lose any turnips you've purchased though. But otherwise yeah, no one should be moving out. I had a thing where the stores would repeat what items they had in store the last time you were on that same day though. So it made waiting out for new stuff at the store kinda ****ty.
You'll lose your turnips if you have any and some things may not progress like the growth of trees or renovations. You also won't get any mail. It becomes a weird kind of "new" day lol.
In this game villagers won't move out suddenly without you talking to them, so time traveling forward or backwards does nothing. Traveling backwards, however will only count as a single day regardless of how far you go.
