I've heard before that if a villager asks to move out and you say no, you can then time travel as far ahead as you want without anyone moving. Can anyone confirm this? I'm thinking about skipping ahead to December to get the last of my bugs and fish. I know I can go back and it only counts as 1 day, but I don't want to risk going forward and losing dreamies if this trick isn't confirmed.

I'm not 100% sure.. But I do know that if a villager is in boxes (moving IN) .. You can then go as far back or forward as you like

But it may be easier to go back in time to December, then day-by-day to go back.. 'Cos that way you know you won't lose anyone

I don't think that's true. Villagers ask about every 4-5 to ping to move. You'll always have a chance losing a villager when TT forward. I think I read somewhere if you say yes to a villager moving you can TT as far ahead because only one villager is allowed to move at a time (bringing you down to eight villager which is the getting a villager to move in not move out period). I'd do what Hound00med suggested and jump backwards into December and TT day by day so you can watch for someone's pings and stop your dreamies from moving. I TT day by day and have only had one accidentally move out with my dreamie. A side from that I've learned and have had no problems since. Good luck!
