To people who like big houses:

How big would would you want a house?

For example, given the floor layouts we've seen, the biggest house we could conceivably have, would be a first floor with all side rooms, a second floor with all side rooms, a basement with all side rooms, and all of these being 8x8 rooms. I feel this would require minimal coding for Nintendo, as we already have precedence for a room with all side rooms, that are 8x8, having a second floor, and having a basement, so stacking essentially first floors together in height/depth of what we already had, doesn't sound too hard, right?

But would that be big enough for some? Or are there people out there who want bigger? I'm just really curious if big house lovers have a point where they have enough space.

I actually like having the regularly upgraded downstairs (without any extra rooms). I've done that in all the past games, too.

I really liked the amount and sizes of the rooms we got in New Leaf. I don't think I'd want bigger rooms because then it'd be too hard to fill them. I would only want to add extra rooms to the second floor or basement if we didn't have to expand the main room all the way to 8x8 to get them. Actually, I'd like that for the main floor as well. It would be neat to have the option of creating a little hallway or foyer that the rest of the rooms branch off from.

I think the door placement is just very unfortunate, so a bigger room gives you more space to work with it.

I like that in New Leaf we could finally upgrade all our rooms to the maximum size but I only make like 3 good rooms so I don't really need an upstairs, back room, or basement.

I kinda enjoy my house small? I always end up to upgrade it, but I enjoy them small before I pay them off. After I paid my house, it is often the time where I play less... so I don't want to upgrade too quickly!
