Together Rescue Towns [[Boxes: Winnie]]
The Together Town for Every Kind of Villager
Winnie Baby is moving Please let me know if you'd like her!
http://togethertown.tumblr.com/tagged/winnie
I am on an epic quest to befriend every single villager in-game! And I?ve only barely begun? That means I am looking to love, cherish, and befriend nearly every single villager out there! So I figured I would offer my town as a place to leave your old friends when they leave!
Whether you accidentally let a favorite villager pack up in boxes, or hate to see someone go to the void, or whatever the case may be? You can send them to me, and I?ll take great care of them until you?re ready to take them back, or until they?re ready to go to their next home! I?ll be their new BFF, and you don?t have to worry about them disappearing into your blank data!
This is just a beta test right now, so I might change the process or change the rules as I figure things out! And if someone wants to join me as a babysitter/adopter, just let me know!
So, here are the current rules:
This is a friendly service I am trying to help! Please be kind and courteous and remember this when dealing with me
If there are multiple people needing an open spot, those who can move in the villager the soonest will have priority. Generally, I will prioritize babysitting over adoption, because I know you want to keep your villagers safe! But I will choose occasionally arbitrarily who gets the spot
Always use lots of smilies Or at least smile lots in real life! It helps
I will hold on to your special villager for as long as I can! However, if I need the space and I contact you, and you do not contact me for a (real-life) month, I will do with them as I wish. Which could be keeping them forever, or until you can take them home. Or giving them to a new home. It just depends.
I won?t charge for any villagers Any villagers given to me permanently for free will then be given to someone else for free, and the lovely cycle will continue!
I cannot guarantee perfection, and I am not offering insurance! I am human and make mistakes constantly, and that?s okay. But it might mean there are bad consequences. If the worst happens and your villager ends up in boxes? I?ll send them to my back-up town and let you know. If the worst happens again? I?ll probably still be able to send them somewhere safe. But if the ABSOLUTE worst happens and they?re gone? I?m so sorry, but I cannot do anything after that.
Any villager you permanently give me? is permanently mine, and I will do with them as I please (which is usually making them my new BFF, giving them lots of presents, and finding them a great forever home ) But unless you have explicitly told me you want the villager back, I am free to keep them or give them a new home as I see fit
I average 2 villagers coming in/going out per week. This sounds sort of fast - but across 20 villagers, that means things move very very slowly! This is aggravated when real life takes precedent.
This is not a conventional cycling process! It takes time, I want to befriend all the villagers (my goal is to receive a picture from every one ) So patience will be your friend! However, I understand if you'd like to just hurry up and get your friend into your town, and I will try to be entirely accommodating
If I am babysitting your precious villager, I can send you pics and updates from time to time to let you know what we're doing Your villager will totally miss you but we'll have lots of fun in the meantime!
If you would like me to reserve a villager, you may ask at any time! I'll message you when the villager is moving, and then I can wait 24 hours. After that, it will be whoever can move the villager in the fastest.
If an emergency comes up, then I will change any time lines I have given.
Due to the loads of fun me and your villager will be having, I cannot guarantee original-ness. I usually try to make sure their house isn't turned into a dump, nor give them horrendous catchphrases, but having fun together sometimes means we get messy together, and they lose their pristine original-ness.
I have the right to refuse anyone or any case as I decide so!
Payment is not necessary! I like what I do But if payment is a must (no worries, I'm one of those people, too!) then I'll take flowers, any kind of flowers, your favorite kind of flowers! Pick a bushel of your favorites, and I'll plant them around your villager's house, so they won't forget home
Life makes me move slowly Please be patient!
Please enjoy your precious villagers! They are treasures
These are the villagers I might not be able to hold right now due to them still being in one of my cycles:

Broken Cycling Town -- The Void
"The Void" is the name of a game I own that is... a little shaky! It freezes and glitches pretty consistently. I stopped using it ages ago, because it's corrupting, but recently remembered it and figured it might be a good way to get some people their villagers! In this game I can cycle very fast, but I will not keep an active list of villagers since it wants to corrupt!
Nothing bad has ever happened while anyone else has been in it While there is a certain amount of risk that you should probably be aware of, it's negative qualities have never spread to another game, even when it freezes or cancels during Wifi. I see no threat to your town, but want to be clear before letting anyone in.
So that I know you've read the rules, please say when asking for a villager: "I'd like to enter the Void"
Additionally, there are likely villagers in the Void pool, and these guys have not been well taken care of. They are coming right out of a "broken" town and might be a little worse for wear. I'll have no idea if they're original or not, too, since I won't know what they looked like to begin with.
These guys are free I really wouldn't even bother with tips, since there's no guarantee it'll be there tomorrow!
I'll post here when someone is in boxes. I'll wait however long I feel like, then change to a new villager!
First person to ask when I post can get the villager! Unless we have scheduling problems, and then whoever is the first to be able up pick them up. I'll usually be patient, but if something becomes urgent, I might have to breeze on by.
Without further ado, the villager in boxes is:
---
I do not need to tell you how happy I was when I began my town - you already know.
And I do not need to tell you what it felt like when my town corrupted - you already know.
It was after this that I gave up on my town.
I shoved my house in the furthest corner, where no villager could possibly reach me, and I let time pass by. What would be the point of building anything? Of playing with anyone? Of talking to a single villager?
It didn't matter.
So I didn't care.
I let the years run by. The clock, the town, the gates ran as other people needed them. Turnips. Trades. Signatures. It was good only for a few moments. Then it would be gone.
It was uneventful. I thought nothing. I forgot it existed. I would remember. I would forget. It mattered little, this little town that couldn't hold on to its reality. Just a garden of weeds and empty data.
One day I turned it on, thinking little of it, and there was a new home, with a dog, and weeds.
And the house was shoved near the corner, as close as he could have gotten it to my hideaway. And he was picking weeds - a tiny space around his door, barely a dent in the forest surrounding him. And he waited to greet me.
And I thought, "Maybe I could play this game again."
I quit. I changed the time to a more inviting summer. I wondered how long it would take to get rid of all the weeds. I walked up to the little fence and nearly opened the door.
And I realized that at any moment, even right then, this town was being deleted. It would be gone before long. That I would try to give these villagers, this little dog, a place to live, only to trap them in a place to be deleted.
I couldn't give them a home here.
But I could get them out.
I fled from there. I went back to my black screen, and I cycled years and years, to get them out. I saved some. I lost some along the way. It was an endless cycle.
But my town held itself together till that little dog was ready.
He went home. And no matter where he goes, no matter where any of them go, and no matter what happens to me and my broken town,
they'll still speak of the town they'd once lived in,
they'll talk about The Void, and they'll wonder how it's doing.
This is the story of the corrupted town that will keep cycling on.
And I do not need to tell you what it felt like when my town corrupted - you already know.

~~ RAFFLES / VILLAGERS MULTIPLE PEOPLE WANT ~~
For the really popular villagers, I?ll be holding raffles to make sure things don?t get too arbitrary
If multiple people request the same villager, that villager will instantly go to raffle status. Thereupon, each person must provide dreamie proof to be eligible.
Dreamie proof is mandatory for the raffles! If nobody is able to provide it, I will wait for someone else to have it. If no one can, I will post when the villager needs to be out, and the first person to respond will get her.
Each person can enter once, or receive 5 additional entries for the extra tasks listed below!
If for some reason the winner cannot receive their villager, a new winner will be chosen along the same rules.
Dreamie proof can be just about anything that is more than a text edit ? like bidding on someone else?s page, art in your signature, comments around the site, etc., unedited from before the raffle went active! If the proof is not obvious to me when you enter, please direct me to it.
If you're the only one who enters, congratulations! You win! Magic ta-da happy dance!
I can create new rules/task/whatevers as I see fit.
DON?T SELL THESE VILLAGERS. You can sell your own villagers, I don't mind that. But I am trying to find a home for my villagers. You selling them after receiving them from me just doesn't count as giving them a home. If you want to move these villagers out after receiving them from me, please just give them away free.
Raffles
Completing one of these tasks will give you one entry for one villager.
Color me a picture! Any Animal Crossing related picture that has been colored by any means will do. You do not have to do the linework yourself, if you just hate that. You may use someone else?s picture (WITH PERMISSION AND CREDIT) to color in. You?re welcome to use any of my black and white creations, and I am sure there are plenty of other people under the ?Museum? tab who would be delighted if you would be interested in coloring their creation. JUST ASK PERMISSION FROM THE PERSON AND GIVE CREDIT. PLEASE.
Write an Animal Crossing poem! 10 lines of rhyming verse, or 50 lines of non-rhyming will qualify for entry
Write an Animal Crossing story! 500 words about something or anything in the Animal Crossing world.
Tell me why you?d like the villager, or the first thing you?re going to do with the villager once they arrive in your town. 500 words about you and your desired villager
If you have your own idea for entry, please just ask and we can see!

I will no longer accept entries to the raffles beforehand! It was too complicated. Anyone who already entered still qualifies, however.
