August's Creature:
A bit late into my landscaping adventures to write about them, but better late than never!
The island is in the early days of June...
I toil the earth tirelessly, planting one tomato sprout at a time- carving out a section of the earth for them to call home. Blue Hydrangea's are in season, and luckily for me, the island is covered in hundreds of them; all delicately patterned, acting as guides for the path ahead of islanders. The island roses smell particularly heavenly, as those are in the peak of their season. The aroma of hundreds, and hundreds of tenderly loved flowers intertwines with the breeze carried by the oceans near us. Freshly carved waterfalls aid in delivering their scent to the noses of anyone daring to step a foot outside their home.
You could call my home away from home, a happy paradise- and it'd be nothing short of the truth. Its the perfect place to just sit outside and watch the sun fall. The perfect place to make lifelong pals. The perfect place to call home.
I'll keep working hard to make our island even more beautiful.
