What part of the map do you usually place your home?

In NH, I love the largest peninsula for my house. I just love being by the sea without it being a ‘beach’ house. It’s right in the top left so it feels private and tucked away.

In both new leaf and new horizons I put my house sorta in the middle. In NL my house was closer to the bottom of the map but then for NH my house was closer to the top.

Omg this is so interesting! I reset towns a couple times in New Leaf, but I liked to place my house near a cliff edge, I just liked it? In New Horizons my house is placed on a private beach, secluded by a cliffside so I'm the only house over the bridge to that part of the beach. I think I prefer my player's house to be a little more separate in order to maximise space for outside decoration.

My house is usually in the middle or more on the northern side of my town/island. I don't know why, but the thought of it being in the south just feels weird to me.

back in ACNL, my house was right in the center of my town with two bridges leading to it! in ACNH, i just throw my house wherever i am not currently decorating so it's out of the way LOL my home will find a forever home after my island is done...

In New Horizons, I put my house at the top left corner of map, the furthest away from the residential services, which is right by my airport entrance and my shops.

I don’t remember where I put my house in New Leaf.

I like placing my houses in areas where theres no room for a villager house to be placed behind it, so usually along a cliff. I also like placing my houses far away from my villagers, I prefer them to be in their own little neighborhood

i don't have a specific location as such but i do tend to try and place my house in a little nook or corner so that I can make it cozy, like a river bend or a corner by a cliff

I've never had a preference of where I put my house! I decided to put mine in front of the river this time bc I like keeping all of my villager houses on one side so it becomes a tiny little neighbourhood LOL

Somewhere around the middle to be close (but not too close) to my shops and airport and wherever else I may need to go.

Almost always near the beach! That's where my home is right now in ACNH, but when I first placed my tent I had it up against a cliff and I thought that was really cozy so I terraformed one behind my house by the sea. I like to be near the other villagers too so I'm just on the edge of a little neighborhood of them

On my first Island, I placed my house in the far north-eastern corner on a cliff. I liked that choice!

On my second island, I placed my house near the plaza and beach (near a river mouth), but with not nearly enough room to decorate. That one I hope to move to a better position at some point!
