Where's your top places to go on holiday? Where do you want to go? What places have you been to in the past?

Mine's Japan. The cuisine, the culture and everything about it is appealing to me. I would also like to go to Sweden. I'm very interested in folklore and I'm learning Swedish so it'd help me out when I finally get to go to Sweden one day or maybe just IKEA.

My favourite place I've been on holiday is Budapest. The city is stunning, there's so much great food and there's a lot of historic landmarks and interesting stuff, it's also very tourist friendly. The buildings are very beautiful, I felt very small. Like, their buildings are super tall. It was all beautiful and the people were friendly. And even though I live in the UK, London always feels like a holiday. It's so much different to the rest of the UK, whenever you go in it feels foreign and grand. I always love going to Wales, too.

I've enjoyed my trips to Seattle, Denver, and Vegas. and i've been to New Orleans like ten times.

in North America I'd like to visit Havana, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Hawaii; further abroad I'd like to see Ireland, Wales, Norway, Austria, Paris, Barcelona, Oktoberfest in Munich, aaand Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania... well that's for starters, anyway...

I'd say everywhere I went in Indonesia (besides Jakarta). I love the food, people, nature. I trekked up two mountains there, Rinjani in Lombok and Bromo/Ijen in East Java and both were amazing experiences. Next is probably Thailand again for the nature. One of my favourite trips was taking a road trip from Sihanoukville in Cambodia (where I'm from) to the Trat province at the border of Thailand. We stayed inside the mangroves and it was basically the setting of a horror movie by night and paradise by day... super awesome. (I say horror movie setting as a good thing).

It's unlikely for me to travel outside of South East Asia because flights are too expensive... (furthest I go is to Korea to see my grams) but I want to go to somewhere cold.. maybe back to Korea to go snowboarding. I've always wanted to cycle around Andalusia but god that sounds like an expensive trip u____u

The coolest place I've visited was Niagara Falls. It was really beautiful, but soooooo cold. This year, I'll be going to Italy with my boyfriend, which will be really exciting! And someday in the future, I'd like to visit Spain. c:

I always wanted to go to London to see the Big Ben and other things.

I've been all over NA, Europe, and Asia but if I had to name a few that really stuck out to me -

Japan: Same feelings as you, except the people drove me crazy after 2 1/2 months. The Japanese are incredibly reserved and awkward around foreigners and if you wanted to live there you will never be seen as one of them. This applies even to ethnic Japanese who were born and raised outside of Japan. Forever a second-class citizen. Extremely toxic work culture too. Cool place to visit, ****ty place to live. Very interesting how they have retained many of their traditions despite becoming ultra-modern.

Vietnam: Amazing people who look out for each other and even for strangers. Had nothing but good times here, especially renting a motorcycle and riding around the countryside & mountains. Extremely inexpensive if using the US dollar. Top priority for a revisit.

Poland: Not quite Western but not quite Eastern either. Has a very deep history and interesting culture that you won't find in the rest of Europe. Had their country torn to shreds multiple times but the people have lived on. Like the Japanese the people can be reserved but are more open to meeting and getting to know foreigners. I ended up living there for 4 months, being passed around the country by friends of friends who were keen to host an American dude. Learned the language and customs, feels like a home away from home.

Ireland: After riding a bicycle across the United Kingdom I took a ferry over and rode from Belfast, NIR to Dingle, IRL while mostly following the coast. People say it's perpetually raining but England was rainier; I actually got sunburned here! Some of the most idyllic scenery I've ever seen, you can go from rolling green pastures to dramatic coastlines in the span of a few miles. Incredible people, hilarious sense of humor, and Guinness! Top priority to revisit in Europe. I've always been drawn to the history of Ireland and was not disappointed. Would definitely do it on a bicycle again.

In the future I'd like to visit Cuba before the US influences the culture too drastically. Would also like to spend time traveling through Latin America and learning Spanish, similar to what I did in Poland. I'd probably do it on a bicycle this time though. :p

I went to Tokyo and New York last summer and aaaaAaAh they were great
Hopefully we'll be going to Japan again in a few years

Hoping to go to Canada next year, and Korea by myself one day ^^;

I'm located in the US and have never been out of it D:.. Europe would be my first choice! Specifically I would love to go to Sweden! (I go to IKEA all the time and it's cool and all but I'm Swedish and I feel so fake being there lol) Also, going to Spain would be really nice too! I've been studying Spanish for awhile and being able to practice would be great

I'd love to visit Iceland, I'm someone who would much rather take cold weather and see what those kind of colder climate countries have to offer over a warm sunny beach (I despise the beach). Overall personally I'd rather not stay in the United States forever, I'd love to be somewhere entirely new and see what life outside of the US has to offer. Things have become too 'Western' for my comfort.

oof i meant to elaborate on where ive visited,

the awesome things i did in Seattle included hiking Mt. Rainier (i thought iwas gonna fall off gthe mountain), attending a UW football game, hiking Snoqualmie Falls, going up the Space Needle, and taking a day trip to Victoria.

In Colorado Ive been to Red Rocks, taken the cog train up Pike's Peak (couldnt breathe up that high), visited the Coors tasting room, and went to a tribal casino.

in New Orleans ive been to Mardi Gras once (once is enough), and hung out numerous times in the French Quarter, best food and drink in the world...

I'd love to visit the White House! Washington D.C in general! :) It's beautiful in the spring (so I heard)! :)

Red Rocks is by far one of the best concert venues in the world. Totally worth dropping by even if you aren't seeing a show there; it's a park by day, venue by night. A true gem of Colorado, glad you got to see it!

I've spent a good amount of time in Japan, but I have NEVER been there for hanami. I've never been there in the spring at all, as a matter of fact; I'm always traveling during that time of year. I want to see the cherry blossoms Japan's supposedly so famous for, dang it!
