If my title is FREEAAAKKKKY and you don't understand it, this thread is about Tales of Symphonia 2. Subtitle something or other probably involving the word Ragnorok, I don't care.

ANYWAY. Anyone interested/heard of this game?

I had a freaking creamfest over the first ToS, so I'm gonna pick this up the first chance I get. Which is hopefully soon, you know?

I don't care about the not-fantastic reviews. It is an action RPG and it calls to me and I must have it.

DISCUSS.

I haven't played the first but heard it was great. When I get the chance I think I'll play through the first, and if that's a good experience, then the second is a definite.

The only problem with the first is that some aspects of the battle system are really weird.
But it's still fun. You control your characters in a SSB-type manner. It's a blast.

Sounds pretty intense, I heard it's pretty long as well, that's definitely a bonus. Definitely worth taking a look into, that's for sure.

I think I got about 42 hours out of my first playthough.
So yeah, it's quite long.

Tales, I've never played anything besides the SNES one. I really want to play ToS and ToS II, though. Going to pick up the Cube one next trip downtown.

I absolutely loved the first Tales of Symphonia; I played it 3 times, logging a whole bunch of hours getting everyone to level 100; and playing through once with 10xEXP. I played it with my two sisters; I was Lloyd, one was Sheena, the other was Genis.

However, I have mixed feelings on Dawn of the New World; you can only play as human characters, which means mostly Marta and Emil, so it'll only be two players, and no Gamecube controllers, and it's almost physically impossible for one of my sisters to use the Wiimote/Nunchuk, and I don't want to leave her out.

Played the first and liked it (ToTA is better though, imo)... does the Waggle ruin the game?
I don't know, I haven't actually gotten it yet. D:
Wait, I thought you said above that you have the game.

I got up to a really odd spot.
I won't post spoilers, but I got a false ending.
Like the game ended, but instead of giving me the credits and the ability to start the game over with GRADE, I got sent to the load screen again.

HHHMMMM.

I'm already at the ending place.. spoilers below:

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Spoiler: click to toggle</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;"> I'm fighting with Alice and Decus in the Ginungagap right now. </div>

Yeah..

Yeah..
Oh, this is after that. Not much, though.
It's mad weird. I need to redo the (I think) final boss fight.
Guess who that is.
