Can you use an action replay to get Shaymin, then use that shaymin to get the event on Platinum?

My mom isnt going to take me.

I dont use my action replay,
except on Diamond, I had to use it to complete my pokedex of the Pokemon I would never see..

I'm not really that into grass types. I already have a Shaymin.
