How many of you frequently travel and/or love to travel? I?ve been to a few of places, and I love traveling.

My birthplace is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
My current residence is Phoenix, Arizona.

I?ve been to: Alabama, California, Tennessee, Nebraska, New York, Colorado. (And obviously Pennsylvania and Arizona)

My favorite place to visit for vacation was Alabama. I visited the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham area.

What places have you been? Where was your favorite place to travel?

I know some users have probably visited more locations than me, but I?m only twenty years old and still young. I love traveling. Also, if there isn?t a traveling discussion thread already, we can discuss it here! I wouldn?t mind making this a discussion thread. We can share our experiences and travel destinations! We can also recommend places to visit. :)

I’ve been to a ton of states in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Out of all of them, I have to say Canada was the best because the nature is nice and everything.

In the future though, I want to visit Hawaii and Japan, and possibly permanently live in Japan (I have career interests there where I could also continue practicing Aikido and everything would line up well). That’s only if the career I want here in Texas does not work out though.

I should note that I already went to a lot of places growing up, but I haven’t been anywhere in recent years, and starting next summer I will not have a summer anymore anyway because I’ll be doing an internship and working after that (once I graduate university). :)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that if I become a sports broadcaster like I want to for a Baseball team here in Texas, or one in Japan, I’ll probably be traveling a lot because it comes with the job.

I love traveling but I come from a lower-middle-class family and we've never had enough money to really travel. I occasionally go to the state borders to visit my grandparents, but the last time I really travelled was when I went to Mississippi to visit family back in 2011 and then I went to Chicago in 2012. What I wouldn't give to travel again...

I've also never been outside of the US, nor have I been further West than Louisiana. I was born in cornfield Ohio and here I still am. Maybe someday I'll move somewhere new...

I enjoy traveling a lot, and I even considered living in a van at one point.
I haven't been to a lot of places at all, just a few states. I live in Nevada. I've been to Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Kansas, and California. I wanted to just live in the van, ride around and travel everywhere. I considered moving to Canada. I should visit first, obviously. I would like to visit Washington and Oregon, as those seem like the more lush states. I want to be surrounded by nature.

I've considered studying abroad, however that costs a lot of money. For the time being I'll complete a few years of college here, and possibly transfer somewhere in Washington or Oregon.

I reeeeeaaaaaaaaally want to travel abroad.

I love travelling so much! Even my hobby is travelling, if that's even a hobby. I have travelled many places.

I always wanted to go on a world tour but haven't yet.. Maybe in the future.
My main reason for travelling is to try new food and shop lol.

I travel a lot for work or just short trips to countries near me. I was born in Korea but I haven’t lived there since high school. Many years since then, I’ve lived in the US, Malaysia, and now Cambodia. After moving to S.East Asia and working/living on my own I’ve only managed to afford to travel around SEA and East Asia, even though I’d love to go visit like... a Scandinavian country or something lol. I am currently in Taiwan for a month for work and I’ll be going to Tokyo for a work (and then a short vacation) in a couple weeks... I used to love to travel when I was younger but now that I’m older I get homesick easily T_T. Home for me is Korea or Cambodia, basically where my parents live. I often travel between the two to see them. The ironic thing is, plane rides and airports in general give me anxiety, even though I travel often for work.

I love travelling and I wish I could do it more often. Last year me and my boyfriend went to Madeira which is one of the most beautiful places I've been to. Google it!! The flight there was hell and the landing was even worse, but the visit itself was really really amazing! I would go back if it wasn't for the experience flying and landing there.

I've also been to Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, The Czech Republic, Mexico and China. I don't really remember much of Greece and Turkey though. It's been like 10-15 years or so.. I've also traveled in my home country Sweden but there's not much to say about it really. I don't like Stockholm very much. I actually really dislike Stockholm to be honest xD I'm not much of a city person I guess.

Japan is definitely on the top of my list of countries I want to visit. But I want to make sure I have enough money when I go there because I want to do, see and eat everything!

Pokeclasher: My main reason for travelling is to try new food and shop lol.
I can relate to that xD expecially the part about eating food hah

I've been to 42 U.S States and 7 countries, and I'm only 22.

I love traveling and meeting new people! :)

I've been to most places in New Zealand besides the lower half of the south island, I live in wellington so it's not like I've traveled great distances. I've also been on a school trip to China (Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai) and desperately want to go back. This weekend I'm travelling across the cook straight to visit my younger brother in Nelson (a city in NZ). It's extremely picturesque down there, with large snow capped mountains, lush green native Bush and crystal clear water.

I'm really looking forward to it, apart from the fact it'll be close to zero degrees celcius and raining while I'm down there ^-^

I love traveling! Thanks to my parents, I've been to a lot of places. I can't quite remember them all but here are most of em (if not all):
Alaska, the Caribbean, Florida, Russia, New York, Pennslyvania, Virginia, Italy, Canada, Hawaii, Australia, Germany, Japan (2x), Hong Kong, Taiwan (2x), Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea (2x), DMZ area

I love going to Asia even though the heat and long plane ride usually kill me. (I was born and live in California) I just love the food and atmosphere there so much. Soon I'll be going to Hawaii again and also Seattle! I can't wait to eat all the food LOL. I've also been to Japan twice because my whole family loved it there so much and I can definitely see myself visiting even more in the future.

I've never traveled alone so I'm a bit worried about a major requirement that requires me to study abroad...hopefully it goes okay in the future.

I was born in Salt Lake City and moved to Canada in 1997.

I went to Pittsburgh various times when I was little. Can't recall exact dates.

I went to Disney World in 2005.

I went to Venezuela in 2006 and 2010.

I went to New York City in 2012 for four days.

I went to Cuba with my mom in 2013 for a week.

I went to Salt Lake City to visit my family there for just over a week.

I went to Spain for a week with my stepdad and some of his family last year and enjoyed it.

And finally, I went to England for three weeks over Christmas to spend time with my fiance. I am going again in three weeks to spend another three weeks with him.

I've never been out of my Province before. I don't wanna get too specific with City names or anything, but I've always liked traveling to big cities, I live in a pretty boring place so city life is fascinating to me.

i want to travel across Italy, ideally in a convertible car eating pasta and drinking wine with cool sunglasses on

I've only ever travelled within the United States. I'd love to visit another country someday, but I don't have anywhere near the amount of money I'd need.

Growing up, my family never traveled besides going to see family. We went to Florida once in 2009, but my entire family caught the flu along the way and the entire trip was ruined. We've never really gone anywhere after that, which sucks because I'd like to travel. We just don't have any time or money to go anywhere, and now we have animals that we can't leave.

I live in Canada, and I've been to several U.S. states (New York, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Hawaii) and to England. Hawaii was definitely the best place to visit. I don't actually like travelling much because I find it stressful, but I do want to go to Australia one day.

I love traveling. I really do want to go to Hawaii one day, which is very ironic because I can’t swim. I would rather just enjoy the scenery anyway, though. I will probably go visit within the next couple of years.

I was born in the UK and reside there now, but I spent about 3-and-a-half years living in Germany in the 90s, and then again for another year about a decade ago now. I've been on holiday to the Netherlands and Spain 3 times each, Portugal twice, and France and Japan once each. I went solo backpacking for about 6 months last year, going through Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Switzerland, Italy, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand for the first time over the course of the first 3 months; the next 3 were spent traveling all over Honshu and Kyushu in Japan. Ideally, perhaps not forever, I'd like to live and work in Japan. Of all the places I've been, Kyoto is my absolute favourite.
I think the places I'd like to go most that I haven't visited yet though are Korea, Singapore and Hawaii.

I have never been out of the country, honestly. I would like to experience that one day.

I'm fond of travelling and try to visit at least one new country per year. I've already visited France, Germany, Canada, Poland, Austria and this year I want to visit UK. I always buy cheap flights to save more money on entertainmants. Want to visit all countries, travelling inspires me a lot!
