trees wont grow

If it's a cedar sapling it can only be planted in the top two acres of your town.
If it's a palm tree it can only be planted in the lowest acre of the town.

Then either your getting reallyy unlucky or you cant plant a tree there or your running over it...

its not becouse im running over it and i wear a 4-leaf clover all the time!!!

ok, i planted fruit in a random spot and a fruit in the place were a tree was cut down, the random fruit i planted died and the fruit i planted in the cut down tree spot grew.
