Trying to identify an item

More specifically, a houseplant that I saw inside the Able Sisters store and the airport.

The picture isn't mine, but it shows the plant I'm looking for.

Damn, I forgot how many houseplants were available in NL. If this one isn't available, then I have all the houseplants in the game already. I'll buy more of them to finish an area I'm planning. But I really like this one... :/

I know the pain, I wish I could have it too. :/ Would have been so simple to be made accessible too.
I really hope more interior plants are made available down the line so the greenery didn't feel so repetitive between my houses.

Amd I just realized there's another different plant inside Nook's Cranny as well haha

That's a snake plant. I know some people already said as much, but I knew what it was right away. I used to take a lot of horticulture classes. I find it fun.

There's also some plants in the museum too that I'd love to have! Hopefully there will be more house plants released in a future update. I want a Fiddle Leaf Fig. :'(

There's a plant that I would love to have, but in don't know it's name in English. You may know it - Samambaia.

Is it a type of fern? I know in the houseplant world, there's quite a few fern types that are popular (like Boston/Maidenhair/Rabbit Foot ferns). It would be pretty neat to have those in the game too!

Yeah, I just searched for it's name in english and I found out that it's one of the many types of ferns. The Samambaia is incredibly common here, and it's one of the most popular houseplants I've ever seen (even though cacti an succulents are very popular as of late).

Yeah, I have them all (although not in all colors). I thought these were available as they're pretty common and, you know, the assets are already in the game, so...

How do you get them in different colours? I tried customizing and it wasn't an option. It's just luck in the shop or via gifts?

Yeah by villager gifts, shops , or by trading variations with other players online. I think your island is stuck on a specific color palette in the shops, so the only other options would be villagers, Balloons, etc.

Bluebellie is right. I've got them from the shop (on my island and on others), from balloons (not really common) and by trading with other players. But I'm far from having all the color variations haha.

Thank you Bluebellie and Raz for your answers I've got the yellow Monstera and the brown biotope planter, I can't wait to see what other colour plants I get. That list is very useful!!
