Turkey Day Furniture Customization!

I just finished the event, and wondered if I could customize the hearth - and it has a spring kind of theme!?!?! I initially loved that these decorations are a little more subdued, so I can use them beyond a Thanksgiving setting - but then I almost peed my pants when I saw they could be customized with a completely different vibe!!!

Don't get me wrong, I loved that Halloween furniture's facial expressions could be customized, and the colors could be changed. But let's be honest - a jack-o-lantern is not appropriate Valentine's day decor. I love that this AC game is a little more cognizant of seasonal furniture being pretty year-round.

This is not to offend anyone who uses seasonal furniture year-round! I just can't commit to such strong theming!

The random items you get for the upgraded dishes are even different versions depending on what hemisphere you're playing in.

It’s hemisphere-based, actually! My turkey day stuff starts out in the spring selection, and I’ll customize to fall.

too bad I prefer the fall coloration for the most part...

Totally agree! The Halloween stuff was great but really only useful for one month. The flooring is actually pretty nice, too!

I'm playing in the southern hemisphere and the default for all of my recipes is the spring green colour!! excited to change everything over once autumn hits tho

I love the customization for this, but I have do disagree with the Spooky set items only being good for October. Most of the items I would say that is true, but there are a few that you can use during the entire season of fall. The lantern, tower, and lantern hay set can all be turned off and turned around out on your island. Then it all looks like regular pumpkins, which are harvesty! Just an idea, if you didn't think of it. ^^

I was kind of hoping the tablecloth on the table could have a custom pattern applied to it.

I like the two color customizations though.

I love them! I think I like the orange customisation the best because I like the dark wood. Found use for all of them except the stone stand because it doesn’t really match my island aesthetic anymore, but it would look great in a statue garden!

Yup! There's only two options, Autumn and Spring. Still really nice that they are customizable, even if it's only those two color schemes.

Thanks for the information I was hoping that they could use a customised pattern. I think purple would look really good

as if I didn't already love the new furniture enough! both colour variations are so gorgeous, I'm so excited to get them into my house! maybe I'll put one colour scheme in each of my houses so I don't have to decide between the two

I can't believe this!!! What a delightful idea! Though, I'm sure it's annoying if you prefer the opposite... Especially since customization kits are so annoying to buy...

I wonder if this has an application in any other events? Like Christmas ones?... But I don't know how that would even look. Even if this is the only one that's like this, I'm happy! It's yet another cute little touch.
