Sooo is it a good way to earn bells? Like at what prices should I buy turnips and at what price should I usually sell them? I don't have AC:NH yet but I want a clearer idea on how it works since I feel like it's a pretty good way to earn bells
It's def a good way to earn bells! I've made about 3 million since the game came out (no TTing involved, participated in 2 Sundays worth of stalk market).
I tend to buy pretty low (between 85-95 bells) and sell for high (between 450-600 bells)!
Ohhhhh those are very profitable if that's the case, though I do hope I get lucky on the prices, I think that's the main issue on these turnips AHAHAHAHA I'll be sure to save some bells for Daisy Mae's visits then, thanks for the info
It can be hit or miss, it really depends on if you either have a lot of friends playing this as well and/or if you can catch someone here on the forums with a good price who's willing to open their town to others. It can be a way to earn a LOT of bells (especially if you get a buy price for under 100 and can find a town selling for 300+). The prices in my town so far have been awful. I bought mine for 103 and my buyback prices for the last two days were 62 one day and 52 today. It's all about luck, and that luck can be extended if you know more people who are playing.
Something to note is that the prices are different for AM and PM. You'll want to try to check both prices if you can to have the best chances of selling them at a profit.
It really helps if you keep track of the turnip selling threads over in the Airport section of the forum!! I never get lucky on my own town (my prices haven't topped 125 in the two weeks I've played the game) but others have been kind enough to let me come and sell on their islands!
I tend to buy 4,000 turnips every week. It's enough to fill up my entire upgraded inventory and it's not a hassle since I don't need to make multiple trips!
