Thanks for letting me come over and congrats on the train station styles. By the way, I have a question about your turnip price. How do you keep it at the same price like that each day?

I watch that the town's time doesn't reach a point that may change the price. If I must, then I halt welcoming any guest, for a moment, and re-start the game with an earlier time. When I'm done hosting, I totally shut off the 3DS console. (Sleep mode is not good enough. The "Power" button must be turned off.) What I do, separately, is write down on a Post-It the town date and time (if necessary). That makes it easier for me to hold it.
UPDATE 02.18.2014 @ 07:37 p.m. ET: I am on break. I will re-check this thread to see if there are more people wanting to come to Progress to sell their turnips to Reese in Re-Tail @ 727 bells.

If you have one 3DS console, what you would sacrifice is preventing yourself from letting your town's clock move forward to subsequent days. Which may not feel too good if you something different where time cannot stand still.
Last time I hosted this, about a month ago (I think), I did it for one week in actual time. I eventually had to bring that to an end because of other matters. (At the time, I don't believe I had Julian in Applewin. And I had one or two other things in mind.)

Yes.
I added you; but you came up as a "Provisionally registered friend." You are not yet fully registered (at which point your Mii image would come in with your respective name used). It's easier if you come in fully registered so that you can see my gate and take the train to Progress.
I will give this about 15 minutes to see if there are any more people wanting to come to Progress to cash in on turnips for 527 bells.
