What are some villagers you find to be underated?
For me its stu, the blue cow, there is literally nothing bad i can say about him yet nobody talks about him
All of my favorite villagers are underrated if I have to pick one I’d say…Billy? There’s just something so endearing about an old goat who acts like a jock, yet I rarely see him mentioned or run into him on dream islands. I’m also a big fan of Marcel, as he reminds me a lot of Doraemon <3
margie is criminally underrated imo. i’m guilty of not paying her any mind prior to new horizons lol, but i’m so glad i’ve gotten to know her. she’s insanely pretty, and despite being in the ac movie, she’s not as popular as some of the other villagers in that movie (rosie, whitney, apollo etc) are. she deserves way more love and recognition, she’s one of the best normal villagers, and the best elephant villager imo.
quite a few of my other favourite villagers are underrated as well — chabwick, rudy, megan etc.
Mott is probably my favorite villager. He was one of my starting villagers in New Leaf and I managed to get him in New Horizons as well. Really love him, but I never really hear anyone talking about him. I also really like certain notoriously "ugly" villagers like Tabby, Katt and Jambette and think they're really funny and cute --but people do talk about them a lot (mostly negative) so I'm not sure if they count as underrated.
Megan. A lot of people call her plain but I love her purple color and her house just seems crazy. She also reminds me of Lisa Frank's work. I don't know if Megan's fan base ever grew later.
Also, Olaf. I had him briefly in the past and regretted letting him go so soon. He came off so dramatic and humorous to me. I know villagers are different "skins" but he just came across different to me than other smugs. Idk.
