I have a couple that arent my usual ones, given I usuallly dont make any at all but you know new year new me! (I hate that phrase lol!) Please Let me know if this isnt allowed(?) or if this isnt the right place to do this, thank you!

1. Learn Japanese
Ive always loved the culture so I figured why not!
2. Be more comfortable with wearing whatever I please to wear!
Im super self conscious on what I wear due to lots of things actually, mainly I want attention and compliments but then again I dont want to be wrapped into a conversation for an hour of why you like my shirt/dress/sweatshirt ect.
3.Embracing my inner organizer, Using an actual planner.
Like on with days and weeks and such! I always buy one but I forget to use it, or I forget where I put it. It always gets lost somewhere! But so far 3 days strong haha
4. Not caring about things that I cannot control.
When I say this I dont mean getting caught up in drama but I mean like why is my face like you know my face, why is my body this or that and why cant I look like {insert whatever here}
5. Spend less money on things
I tend to spend money on things that arent worth it. So im going to try to change that.

I think thats all for now! If you guys have that you like to voice go right ahead! I like to encourage everyone to say thier opinions no matter what it may be!

I have some too but they're gonna be hard to accomplish.

1. Stop caring about what other people think.
2. Improve my self esteem and completely cut out self deprecating humour.
3. Quit procrastinating. Become those kids who do their homework weeks in advance.
4. Find a hairstyle I am happy with.
5. Try to not let my depressing thoughts get the better of me.
6. Think about being in the moment and enjoy every second of days.
7. Wake up earlier to make the most of my days.
8. Write more stories.
9. Watch more shows.
10. Stop biting my lip.

Oh and declutter my room and stop making it messy by being lazy.

1. stop caring what other people think

2. improve my self esteem

3. become comfortable with my own body

4. stop procrastinating

5. stop picking at my lip/biting my nails

6. overcome my anxiety and depression once and for all

7. clear up my skin

well i wonder if any of mine will get accomplished tho lol

1 learn european portuguese
2 learn japanese after learning european portuguese
3 get the harry potter exhibition staff job i sollicitated for
4 turn/help/inspire atleast 5 people to go vegan
5 finish reading game of thrones (im still at page 250 of the first book i cri)
6 try to wake up in the morning so i wont lose time being asleep cuz i cant do certain things at night
7 find a job and save up money which is basically like 3 but i dont know if i will succeed with that one
8 try to pick up left off relationships and have myself being the first one to talk instead of having relationships ruined
9 finally create the perfect animal crossing town and also hack to change my stupid town name

I only have 1 which is to exercise every day. Even if it's just for 10 min or something it's better than nothing. I've gotten SO out of shape since starting my university program a year and a half ago and I really miss being able to run around and do things without getting out of breath.

1. Try to be around my family more

2. Exercise every day (or as much as possible)

3. Build up my self esteem and learn that the only people to be concerned with are my friends and family

4. Be more open-minded (I mean, I think I am anyway, but it does hurt to be more open-minded ya know)

5. Don't let small things get to me and become a stronger person

6. Stop procrastinating and get things done on time (which causes will less stress)

7. Try to deal with areas and don't let it take over my life, especially if it's over something stupid

I have a few and I have one of the same ones! X3

1. Being more positive (finding myself) which I have already done upon getting this bracelet from my cousin that says "Happy" on it and I plan on living up to it.
2. Being more creative. I want to make my own things! I want to bake things for my friends and show my inner self through creations, which I have done but I've had a wobbly personality because of trying to fit in and I'm ready to be myself and embrace myself!
3. Learning Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. I've been interested in their cultures for a while.
4. Try to be neater (i'm sooo messy oml)

1) Take more photos. I want to take more pictures with people I love and care about and be able to remember each moment.

2) Watch more Japanese TV shows + listen to more Japanese music (not necessarily jpop). I used to be so heavily into anime and manga as a teenager, but now it's just not appealing to me as much as it used to... But I am studying Japanese so I want to try and improve my language skills by listening to the language as much as possible. ^^ You learn a lot just from absorbing what other people are saying.

3) Try to exercise a little more. I've given up ballet now unfortunately because I don't have the time for it, although I'd really like to keep it up, I just can't. So I would ideally like to try and go swimming more or just go out and exercise when I can. I also want to get back into judo too since I gave that up a few years ago but I strengthened up so much because of that.

4) Just keep being me, keep recovering, keep smiling each day and making the most of each situation I can. Not being afraid to try new things and trying to spread as much kindness and love as I can. 2016 proved to me that I can do that so I want to carry on doing that this year. I've come out of my shell so much and I just want to carry on feeling this way. <3

This isn't something I've really considered until recently but I'd like to start seeing a counselor. A lot of stuff happened this past year that I haven't been very great at dealing with by myself, so I think talking to someone about it might help.

I'd also like to draw more!

I definitely recommend trying to watch actual Japanese shows (like J-dramas or variety shows or something) and not just anime. The language they use in anime is Japanese, but it's not exactly standard Japanese.

As an example of what I mean, a friend of mine watches a lot of shounen anime (Naruto, One Piece, etc). Characters in that show are usually rough-and-tumble sorts, so to go with that, sometimes they use extreme casual and/or even rude language. My friend moved to Japan a few months after me while I was living there and, um... well, he ended up accidentally insulting some people without meaning to because he was using rude versions of terms.

I have heard of this too. Shounen anime is usually not a good source to learn Japanese from due to the reason you stated. Apparently slice of life is a better genre for that but you still gotta be careful. You gotta compare it to someone learning English from Spongebob or something. XP

Here are a few realistic ones for me which i think i can do.

Save up ?5 notes just to see how much i can get then either go on holiday with the money or bank it.
Play more video games.

Going to see how these go. :)

Yes, i had a long list of things on my list, here it is:

1. Get a life
2. Get a life
3. Get a life
4. Store up on dank memes
5. Get a life

As you can see, my new year's resolution isn't really that serious. I personally don't like listing my flaws on a piece a paper, think about how i should improve myself when i'm already ok, and don't even go with the resolutions...

Mine aren't "unusual" per say but they're definitely something I'm going to struggle with. 2013-2016 have been really on and off years for me, they've had some really good points, but also some of my lowest, and I've constantly had my ups and downs through out the years and this year I just want it to be consistent with happiness, and try focus on the good, rather than dwell on the bad. I'm going to try do that sappy thing you see all the time where you get a jar, and everything something good happens, or you are happy, you write it down and put it in the jar, that way at the end of the year you can go through it and look at all the good things that happened through out the year, and really try focus on making myself happy for me, rather than having my happiness rely on another person or situation. I'm also tempted to do the opposite and write down all the bad things that happened, so then at the end of the year I can reflect on them too and see how I grew as a person because of it, but the commitment is too much LOL.
I'm also going to try expand my social circle. I actually really enjoy talking to people, but I do tend to seclude myself off to a select few people, both online and IRL. If I could actually open myself up to more people and make a few more friendships this year, I'd be pretty content.

On the subject about new years resolutions:

i've decided to stop disappointing my parents without their knowing that i've disappointed them
they have this idea that i'm hard working and put a lot into my school work which isn't true. i feel awful because i do pretty good in school without putting a lot of effort in, which is fortunate, but not fair. it just means i could do even better if i was more organised and motivated and there's a whole lot of wasted potential that if i made the effort to use, i could do so much more and i'd probably feel less stressed about it.

which links to my second resolution which is do manage my time more efficiently so i become less anxious. i seem like a chill, laid back person because i manage to escape my responsibilities for a while with my daydreams and procrastination and i don't think of the consequences and then i'm faced with the responsibility and the consequence and i go anxiety mode lmao. it's an awful way for me to be and this year i need to put more effort in, not only for the academic benefits, but for the mental and personal benefits.

I only have one this year, and it's to watch all the Star Wars films. I've never seen any, and I feel like this is an important part of pop culture that I need to experience. I also want to lose weight but it wasn't really an official resolution I had. Just Star Wars. :p
