Update 1.2.0 - So is it safe to trade with amiibo again?

I'm pretty sure someone has asked this, but I can't seem to find it. I've heard/seen around that there have been more successful trades with amiibos (someone adopting a villager who has been kicked out with another amiibo in the campsite). Plus, I found this on animalcrossingworld.com:

So I'd like to know if anyone is experiencing glitches still?
Also, if there is another thread like this, I apologize.

Me and another user did some testing, and we came to the conclusion that it seems to be indeed fixed. I invited Skye to my island without any issue. No tells she was glitched (repeatedly spoke with her to see if she prompted invite dialogue again, etc). She claimed her plot with zero issue and was in boxes no issue two days prior, and was wandering my island all day yesterday.

The other user also did this with a friend, and said friend also had no issue. Also the fact that no one has since made a thread experiencing the glitch it is safe to say, it is fixed! However, a little precaution never hurts. If you're adopting, talk with the 3-5 times extra to see if it prompts invite dialogue again.

P.S. Yes, the Skye was from an amiibo card and was put in boxes by an amiibo card.

I just sold Diana to someone and apparently she was like crafting in thin air (?), I remember reading glitched villagers did that so Im kinda worried.

I just bought (yesterday) Lucky from someone who kicked them out via Amiibo and it went smoothly for us

I don't recall that ever being a tell that a villager was bugged, just seems like a minor random bug.

Also I sold Bob today via amiibo, and they say everything is working fine!

Good to know all of this is fixed!! I'll be kicking Eugine out via amiibo in a couple days so I'll report back if there are any issues!
