Hello! I have an art thread (link in my sig) and I've been trying to update it with some more recent stuff. The only problem is that I can't seem to upload my photos. Whenever I try it says: Upload of image failed (or something along that line)

I was wondering why it isn't working all of a sudden? I've pretty much been uploading photos since June and I'm not sure as to why it just stopped working. I'm not doing anything different either, I've been attempting to do the same process as I've always been but it's not working. I've even tried uploading the photos from both my phone and a second computer, which I've done in the past, and it's still not working.

How would I get it to work? And is there another way I could upload a photo besides the attachment/upload image without having it be on a URL? I'm not sure what to do.

Well, I know per post you can have like up to 15 uploaded images from your computer!!! I'm pretty sure the only way to add more images is use something like imgur and get image codes to paste into your shop.
:)

Ok I'll see if I can try imgur… But I don't think multiple photos is a problem, it's not even letting me upload one photo T.T

Actually, that's not true! You can easily avoid this by unchecking the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" thing. It's also how you can bypass the supposed "image height/width" limit.

happened with me earlier today. Not sure what happened

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this, but if you mean that it just comes up on a blank when you load up the image pop up, then just click "basic uploader" and it'll come up with the option to upload from your computer.

I use 'basic uploader', and it seems to always work. For some reason I've also had problems uploading photos for a while, and basic uploader is the only way I can do it.

The upload from computer option has been acting weird for me too. For some reason I can't click the Select File button unless I switch to the basic uploader. I don't have any problems linking pictures from another site like photobucket though.

I know. It just comes up blank.
I thought of addressing this with the staff but I thought it was just a simple error with my computer.

So I was able to set up an imgur account and upload photos through there (so go check out my art thread!! XD) :) But it still doesn't solve the problem lol

It gives me this message when I try, even with the basic uploader:

Strangely enough, when I use the link option (in the uploader), it says it won't upload it because the file is invalid; it might be because I'm trying to use the wrong link but whatever

But when I copy paste said link instead of through the uploader, it works perfectly! So idk what's up with this

It's always a better idea to use an off-site image hoster. Uploading images directly to TBT is going to have these chances where it doesn't want to work, and it also charges you bells to upload images directly, whereas if you upload to a site like imgur and post it through the BB IMG code, you earn bells instead of spending.

I really wish there was a "how to post photos thread" because it's a nightmare for me. Having ios doesn't help any. Maybe consider it. Thanks.

It costs me bells to post pics? Imgur just became a 100% time uploader for me then. :p
