have you tried a different route or just stuck to one (no mercy or pacifist I think are the only ones?)

There's Genocide (everyone dies/has a bad time), Neutral (some people die/have a bad time) or Pacifist (nobody has a bad time).

I pretty much know most Undertale spoilers thanks to the internet. Ohhh well, can't play Undertale anyway because I don't have a computer and I would've found out the spoilers anyway from watching someone else play it.

That's how I got into it, I watch someone do a playthrough without any major spoilers.

Then I bought it and now I'm hooked ._.

I could never beat Sans even if I tried that route. It really does look like a very bad time.
