Villager Cosplays

So, someone on the island, another villager, gifted Clay the dragon suit. Every time he wears it all I can think about is that he's cosplaying as Uma Thurman's character from Kill Bill.

Usually I don't give my villagers clothes, I like them in their OG clothes personally.

Someone had also gifted Dobie a fireman's outfit, and now all I can think of when he wears it is of him being a grumpy grandpa saving kittens from trees as he mutters under his breath 'not another one', but he loves the soft purrs and fur really :'D

Anyone else have villagers in unintentional cosplay, or do you purposefully give them clothes to wear as cosplay?

I don't really give them clothes to look like a cosplay, but I like to sometimes give them clothes to match their general vibe (that being said, I don't gift my villagers clothes very often at all - You'll get a stack of gift wrapped coconuts and you'll like it Apollo)

Haha! Yes! I have Apollo too now, but he's not been on long enough. I do gift mine, I like to make them the DIY stuff, makes me feel better giving them something I've made :'D But clothes, no, I also don't like changing their catchphrase or greeting :'D

If I ever get Louie, the Gorilla who looks like Donkey Kong and whose name is based on Luigi, I’m fully going to give him Luigi’s Hat or overalls

I gave Dizzy the explorer shirt and hat at different times but he always wears them together.I liked the idea of an elephant being the one out on a safari instead of a human.

I thought Hans would look like James Bond in the white tuxedo jacket but he comes across more like a Bond villain.

I had the same idea about the dragon suit.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who saw the Kill Bill outfit in the dragon suit. I also have the tiger jacket and call that the Carole Baskin jacket :'D

It's not exactly cosplay really, but I made some custom designs featuring characters from another video that I really like, and put them up in able sister's. It's always really fun and amusing to me to see who will wear which of the designs each day, my villagers seem to like them a lot because they wear them almost all the time! xD

I also gave Bruce and Roscoe bowling shirts (with me having a match one as well), and I like to pretend we're all on a bowling team together, hehehe Roscoe also has a captain's hat because he mentioned wanting me and him to sail off on an adventure together, so he's gotta dress the part!

It also wasn't intentional (and perhaps a bit morbid), I just gave it to him because I thought it would look nice, but Lucky has the black and white waistcoat and when ever he wears it I can't help but think he looks dressed up to work in a mortuary or something. Which I think fits, since his house is literally a graveyard.

Yes, this! I did the same, I made some hoodies from another game I play called Overwatch, and seeing Apollo walk around in the D.Va hoodie I designed the other day was something else :'D

I love seeing mine walk round in the designs too though, it's great I love that idea for Lucky though, it sounds super cute! <3

Hehehehe, perhaps they switch off playing as her? (I don't know how that works in overwatch to be honest! ^^; If multiple people can play as the same character or not.) But that's amusing, Apollo and Diana are pretty wildly different, but they both like D.Va a lot!

Usually in Overwatch once your a character unless you change you're the character for the whole round (it's played in rounds, but we call them games, one team attacks and one team defends). Unless it's the game mode in the arcade called No Limits, as the team can go as the same hero if they wanted to, then they both could be D.Va Yes! I'd say D.Va fits Diana more though, she's a 19 year old professional gamer, called Hana Song, who got signed to the M.E.K.A. (Mobile Exo-Force of the Korean Army), to help fight the Omnic (robots with sentience who turned bad) presence

My poor villagers have the wackiest clothes. I played last night and Coach was wearing a bath towel, an eye mask, and a purple new year's party hat.

Bones sometimes wears a nurse uniform - like could you imagine Bones being a nurse

They're adorable though. I love seeing them in awful clothes that don't match them.

I used to have Fauna on my island and tried to dress her as Little Red Riding Hood. I had Elvis and never thought to dress him as Elvis Presley but he would've been great in the rock star suit (I can't remember what it's called).
