!! Urgent Question about Villagers !!

Okay, to put a person's mind at ease;

Basically me and another user were doing a trade (My Apollo for his bells) but he didn't have room for him, so he TT so one of his villagers would move out. However in doing this one of his dreamies that he wanted to keep (Rudy) has now decided to leave and he wants to keep him.


So my question is; if we do a villager swap eg. he takes my Apollo moving out today and I take his Rudy moving out today into my my village, can she invite his own Rudy back into his village without cycling through the 16 villager cycles in the future when he has room?

NO, this is not true, I tested it with merengue, you have to cycle through 16 villagers no matter what, sadly, it was just a rumor
