Villager pics?

Has anyone got a pic from a villager yet? Are we 100% sure they’re in? Also, with the Amiibo posters, how do we get posters for the new characters? Maybe there WILL be a new set of cards...

I was able to get posters from scanning amiibo cards on Harvey's Island (Photopia).
I'm not sure if villagers also give you their pics but I'm sure the datamine showed villager pictures in different frames so I'd think it's a possibility.
I don't have cards for the villagers who are currently on my island so it would still be nice if there was an alternate way of acquiring them. Also, not everyone has amiibo cards or online play so trading is not always possible.

villager pic photos were leaked a few days prior to new horizon’s release so i’m fairly certain that they’re still in the game.

Luckily they are not. You can still get villager pictures. Posters are just what you get for inviting them to Harvey’s island.

So... no one has obtained them, yet, then? I remember the data mine but aren’t they the same pics as the posters?

I haven't got them yet, but I got Nook Miles for "developing a friendship" with a villager I guess, so I'm sure there's another Nook Mile achievement for reaching that kind of friendship level where you would get something like that from them.
