My town is pretty fairytale/medieval (fairytale pwp, mayor has a castle and wears a crown) and I'd like suggestions of villagers to go with it. There are a few non-themed villagers I don't want to get rid of, but some like Phoebe and Julian would fit well.

Knox and Sterling would make some good Knights. Also a lot of people consider Colton to be a princely figure.

Oh and Drago could fit into the monster category.

You can probably take Cousteau as the royal chef.
And Drago, for he's a dragon.

Tia? Tea cup = tea party?
Also definitely a horse - any one, really! And maybe Prince the frog?

Merengue would look adorable in that kind of themed town! She could fit as the royal chef. And maybe Pietro since he could be like a jester in a way c: Elvis the lion could also represent the king.

Normal villager like Gayle, Marcie, Margie, Merengue, Midge, and/or Tia would really fit in well
Cranky villagers would be Knox, and/or Vic
Lazy villagers could be Stitches, Biskit, Simon, Cranston, and/or Cube (bit really any lazy would be fine)
Jock villager I could name are, Drift, Flip, Lyman, Rory and/or Sterling (again, any jock would be nice)
Smug villagers are, Julian, Hippeux, Lionel, and/or Chops
Snooty villager would be anyone pink such as, Freya, Claudia, Diana, Friga, Miranda, ect. (Whitney and Monique are exceptions)
Peppy villager are, Chrissy, Cookie, Flora, Puddles, Penelope, Pinky, Peanut
Uchi villagers would be, Pashmina, Ren?e, Shari, Diva

basically try to avoid the dark and/or bland ones like Lucky or Muffy

Haha I have Lucky, he's a sweetie. I see him more as a Humpty Dumpty character, some poor little guy who's just hanging in... maybe through magic?

And I want Tia anyway, glad you guys think she fits!

Also I think Mott could fit in if I could get him into some snazzy clothes, like a captain's jacket or armor.

Tia would be great, she's similar to the fragile 'China girl' from Oz. Or just the general whimsy of teacups in fairy tales. And A+ on Mott, lions always have a kingly feel about them.

Glad I could contribute to the thought-process. I'd love to visit or dream about you town once it's finished :)

Haha, that will be... never. You're welcome to visit :D I'm working on making it more forestry and still working on my pwp.

Maybe Julian, and fauna(for the talking deer feel, always gotta have a forest one) and maybe...knox

I think I'm happy with Zell for my talking deer, though Fauna is more cartoony... I get that 'talking woodland creature' feel from them too :D

Oh wow, he is princely! I finally looked him up.

I'm also going for a fairytale town, so this thread has been interesting for me to read :) I didn't really think to have themed fairytale-esque villagers, but it's a neat concept! I've been basing my dream villagers more on what the exterior of their houses looks like, because I don't like having houses in my town that I consider ugly and mis-matched with the landscape. So a lot of my dream neighbors have houses with pink, yellow, and/or blue, along with the Fairytale doors (the ones with diamonds on them).

An example would be Colton, whose house has a blue fairytale door and has a color scheme that matches the fairytale decorations (blue + yellow is in pretty much all of the fairytale PWPs).

As someone else said, he has a princely look to him as well (and he has regal furniture in his house), so I guess he's fitting in multiple ways.
