Villagers will not ask to leave

If you have just one villager you want to move out, and you want to replace them with Sherb, and you're willing to use amiibo, Sherb will have an amiibo very soon. Just you'd have to get your hands on one.

Yea i saw that he is FINALLY getting his own amiibo! My issue is if my game is bugged and i ever want to switch the types of villagers i have (im currently deer/goat for cottage core) then they will never ask to move out and ill have to restart at some point anyways :/ Ya know?
I did currently move Dierdre out with Marina from my campsite. i think ill try my theory and kick Chevre out to see if shes bugged. I got her from someone on a ACNH discord

Back with an update. So i finally got Dierdre out with Marina from my camp site. Yay me.
I tested my theory and removed Chevre (whom i got from someone else that put her on their island with an amiibo card, so i thought she might be bugged). Im continuing to time travel and ive noticed...i have no weeds growing any where like i have previously with time traveling. Im using my usual method of just going 15 days from the last move in date (the 27th with Fang my campsite villager that removed Chevre)and going forward day by day. SO far nothing, but i thought that no weeds growing was interesting.
