From now, until October 31st. The steam pokemon Volcanion is available via code through mystery gift! It's available in both ORAS and X/Y. This pokemon arrives at level 70 and with the following moves; Steam Eruption, Over Heat, Hydro Pump, and Explosion. This pokemon has a unique typing. Being the only fire and water typing to date. This Pokemon is available through Gamestop codes. And surprisingly enough, it arrives holding an assault vest. This is the first Volcanion event to ever be distributed!

What are you waiting for? Go out there and get a code while you still can! This Pokemon is a perfect addition to anybody's collection.

The Volcanion event has now begun in many countries across the world.

In the United States, it can be obtained at Gamestop. It runs until October 31st
In Canada, it can be obtained at EB Games. It runs until October 31st
In Australia & New Zealand, it can be obtained at EB Games until October 31st
In the Netherlands, it can be found in Bart Smit, Intertoys & ToysXL stores until November 30th 2016
In Belgium, it can be found at Dreamland and Broze et Fun stores until November 30th
In Germany, it can be found in Muller Stores
In Mexico it can be obtained in Gamers Retail Stores until October 31st

I'm antisocial! and I don't think they even do them in Ireland anyways lol..so could someone help me out? I'd obvs pay you some tbt or try and breed you a competitive mon. Like honestly, I normally just deal and ignore these, but Volcanion is probs my favourite new legendary since Deoxys.

Only in Northern Ireland, but even then, not that many about sadly. If I can't get a code, I'm sure they'll eventually do the 2nd chance code they've done for Hoopa and Darkrai.

Yeah, these are annoying. I bought an eshop card on Sunday and saw that the event started on Monday so I had to go back to the store again. And the guy only gave my friends and I one code each. I may try again later to get one for my other game. I prefer the online events.

Just a heads up for anyone trying to redeem the codes and getting an error message, before you throw out that card read this. I'm not sure if this is a normal problem with the serial codes that are distributed by various game stores or what but this is the first time I've ever experienced anything like this myself.

My Mom tried redeeming hers yesterday and it kept giving her an invalid code message. Looking online for a solution, it turns out that what appear to be 'O's are actually sometimes 'Q's on the serial code numbers, and I got the code to work on my own game by inputting a 'Q' in the code instead of the 'O' (I got four cards in total so I just gave her a different one). Biggest problem is, on the card itself the extra hanging piece that indicates the letter is a 'Q' was completely missing all together on the card I got and the only way I got the card to redeem was by seeing that someone else had that exact same problem with their Volcanion code as well. Even gently scratching underneath the 'Q' to get rid of more of the grey stuff didn't show anymore of the letter and it still looked like an 'O'.

They swapped Overheat with Flamethrower... at least for my Volcanion. Anyone else who has a Volcanion that knows Flamethrower instead of Overheat or is it just me?

I wish Nintendo would just drop them and do all of their events over the Internet. Better yet, distribute special items and let us access a otherwise closed off location like with the original Darkrai and Shaymin distributions. Both that and shiny-locks are the biggest gripes I have with the games.

All the stores around me were sold out of the Volcanion cards. I would have missed out on this guy if it hadn't been for my boyfriend getting one at his local Gamestop. I mean, seriously, why some legends are distributed online while others have to be IRL stores? And they keep switching it up so you have to constantly keep checking to see how to get the next legend -.-

Oh. My. Goodness. So I'm sitting in front of my laptop, while try to catch a shiny Trapinch/Marowak at the friend safari, when my brother comes home from EB Games after getting a gift for a friend. Comes up stairs and hands me... A VOLCANION AND GENESECT CODE!!! The Volcanion was apart of extras, and he tried getting it for me a while ago but it was sold out. I'm sooooo happpppyyyyy! It's thanks to cashier lady who asked him if he played Pokemon, otherwise this never would've happened. I'm STILL in disbelief!
