Waiting for NH: This illustrator started to draw every Animal Crossing character

The YouTube suggestion algorithm has caught up to me. Google now knows I'm pretty desperate for any Animal Crossing: New Horizons content. But it's quite clever, and it suggested this ongoing series of video from a professional illustrator called Alyssa who just started to draw every Animal Crossing character ever designed by Nintendo. She's pretty witty at that ! While the video plays, she comments on the design of the characters, but also leaves her impressions on what's new in store for New Horizons.

It's quite a sight. I can't wrap my head around someone who would just think it's a great idea to speed through 450+ characters and redraw them all. Heh ! Too bad for her psychological well-being, but I'll gladly watch them all.

Thanks for sharing this. I probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise. The art is great and the fact they're doing every character is incredible. I don't know how the channel has received such little exposure so far.

She might not have noticed. She did not say she would draw them according to New Horizons, but with the current images on the Animal Crossing Wiki or Nookipedia (whatever wiki site she used for that purpose).

I watched all of her videos now in the past days and honestly, she deserve so much more attention. She has such a cool looking art style and the idea behind this series is also pretty neat. I hope more people will see these videos and support her.

She has posted a new one drawing only the Sanrio inspired characters. She goes on to show how she draws them on Adobe Animate before going back to Procreate for small details. Great as always.
