Want Tea advice/recommendations

Last year I discovered this really great yogi tea called rose hibiscus (skin detox) and omg it is the best thing ever and my #1 favorite kind of tea.
I also recently bought green tea passion fruit matcha and its good and fruity also

Saga I've actually never seen spearmint tea. I did have this drink, (pretty sure it was coffee based thou) it was called tazo Chai blah blah blah and it tasted like Christmas. Very good.

Temptations lol nice

Riversong110 I've tried a hibiscus based drink before (it wasn't tea) and omg it was gross. So after that I've been wary of tryin any flower drinks, except violet lemonade. That's good as heckkkkk. But fruity stuff, I like fruity stuff.

Yes, Tazo's chai latte is AMAZING!! It's probably one of my favorite tea drinks out there.

Another I recommend since you like that, is Royal Milk Tea. It's a super-delicious mix from Japan that I think you'd really like; it's sweet and very comforting either hot or cold.

As for the spearmint tea, you can sometimes find it in health stores, but I personally find it easier to order online. Here's the brand I buy. The tea bags are fresh and strong enough that you can make up to two cups/16 oz from one tea bag if you want.

EDIT: Also, have you tried a matcha latte? They're wonderful if you like green tea and sweet/milky beverages (like Tazo). You can buy them at coffee shops like Starbucks or get a mix online. I used to drink the brand Blendy Stick in Japan, if you can find that.

Think I should remind people that I buy drinks at my grocery store or other grocery stores, doubt my parent would let me order drinks online haha.

But when I'm out traveling I'll def take into consideration the matcha latte. I don't like strong coffee, I like the fru-fru stuff so that sounds good.

i brew tea just using my drip coffee maker to steam water into a carafe. then i pout it onto my mug and steep per instructions on the box or bag.

my fave green teas are very mildly flavored--
silvertip aka "white" tea, which i think is what a lot of Chinese restaurants serve in America,
and "gunpowder" green (i buy an organic brand called Nummi, the tea is Chinese, from the regular grocery)

however, i do prefer black tea, especially the strong Scottish Breakfast blend from Taylors
and the Irish Breakfast blend from Twinings. those are blends of teas from India and Kenya, and Twinings adds some Chinese and Indonesian.

my very favorite tea tho is Chinese Pu-ehr tea, which they call black tea, it's a fermented musky tea.

I drink all of these hot though.
for iced tea, i like the traditional black tea American style (usually the tea is orange pekoe from Sri Lanka)
or Thai iced tea (which to me tastes like black tea with condensed milk added)
or Vietnamese jasmine tea (which is green tea with jasmine flavor added)

all the teas i mentioned are in regular grocery
except the pu-ehr which i've only seen at the Chinese market (and is a very unique acquired taste anyhow)

Ah, sorry! I missed where you said you were shopping in grocery stores. In that case, pre-made milk tea may not be possible, but here's a relatively easy recipe that you can make at home using common asam or darjeeling tea (ie. black tea) which you can find in pretty much any grocery store. And the drink is very frou-frou, so I think it'd be right up your alley.

Also, if you ever make a trip to a co-op, Walmart, Target, or Trader Joe's (in the US - my apologies if you're from somewhere else), I've seen spearmint tea at those stores at times, though it might vary by location. Whole Foods may have it too, but I'm not positive. Otherwise, you can make it yourself by soaking fresh spearmint leaves in water; it works well with regular mint, too!

EDIT: Oh, I second Thai iced tea - it's delicious!! It's similar to Japanese milk tea, but it has a slightly sharper flavor. They have it in my grocery store in the Asian section. Try bubble tea, too if you haven't. It has chewy tapioca pearls at the bottom that are tasty and fun to eat/drink . That can also be found in most grocery stores, in my experience.

The oolong tea I got at this legit Chinese place had those pearls in it, it was a white drink, kinda milk looking. The straw was so big, at first I didn't understand why till I sucked up a Pearl haha.

One of the best places to get bubble tea imo are the Chinese and Japanese establishments, not gonna lie. :) Tapioca/"boba" is so good. Did it make the oolong taste milky? Milk tea has a nice sweetness/creaminess to it typically.

I think it did, it's been quite a while since I've had it, and I forgot what it was called.
