Wanting to restart.

Oh jeez. I have to be the silliest person ever. I really want to restart because honestly I can't stand the face I chose. I thought it was cute (wanted something new) then got my hair changed and it looks terrible with any short hairstyles I look like a boy!! I love my town map and I JUST got shampoodles. Is there a way I can restart and get shampoodles super fast??? I can get a different map no problem and couldn't care less about my villagers. I can't live with this face. I'm just going to lose so much progress :S anyone else done this have any suggestions?

Anyways, if you needed shampoodle after restarting, you could just go to someone else's town that has one.

If you have a friend that can hold onto your valuables, then I'd suggest restarting. You can always get your hair done at someone else's town while you're waiting for your Shampoodle to be built.

To delete your mayor character is to delete the whole town. That's the only way~

I'd have to say, I wouldn't like to reset. Assuming you've made decent progress in your town, you'd have to go over it all again. But, do w/e you want.

Hey Bambi! I've done this twice since the release of New Leaf. Guilty habit, I did it in Wild World too. I'd suggest having a trusted friend hold your things while you restart (at least your bells, because you'll need them for this method). When you restart (get your things back from your friend), start on June 9th (New Leaf release date) and TT from there. Buy at least four things from the Able sisters each day. Keep going day by day and buying things. I did this all the way up until the current day, and I got Shampoodle's! Hope I helped, good luck!

I restarted yesterday and was able to get Shampoodle with eye contacts in the same day by time traveling. However, I decided not to time travel after getting Shampoodle

I guess once you start to think about restarting there's no way back. If it bothers you now it'll bother you forever. And since you don't worry about your map and villagers... I'd say do it!

It only took a few weeks to get to where you are now, so it'll only take a few weeks to get back there if you do restart. Whats the hurry to unlock everything?

Thanks for the input guys. I reset last night. Unfortunately I didn't get anyone to hold my things but I'm not worried about that. I'm goin to go back in time and time travel to today's date. I don't regret it because I can now look at my face lol.

The sad thing is I actually did use a face guide. Thought I would go for something different what I had in past games. Tryin to fix things that aren't broken I guess lol.

Ill eventually get back to where I was. Hopefully happier this time. Glad I'm not the only one with an agitated reset button finger.

I thought everyone had the same face at first, but then I got on the interwebs, this is my first AC game. I kinda wanna restart because I hate all my villagers and I want specific ones, but I just have to play until I at least get one I want.

I'm thinking of restarting too but not cos my face, I don't like the layout of my town and wanna restart but don't really want to start from scratch... I've almost found all the fossils not to mention my 3 million bells in my savings account >_<
