was i mistaken abt the villager glitch??

i thought the glitch happened when your clocks werent synced to the internet, but now people are saying it has something to do with amiibo??are they different glitches or am i just mistaken??i rlly hope not bc if i am that means i just lost an opportunity to get my favorite villager ahah........

the only villager glitch I know about is caused by campers! (Amiibo and regular campers)

If you have ten villagers already and ask a camper to move in by kicking someone out, then the villager who is kicked out becomes glitched. They will leave your town, but if someone tries to adopt them the plot will be broken in the other person's town

I heard that your own island can be broken too.
Someone moved out a villager with an amiibo, and the amiibo villager ended up moving into the house that was once occupied by that villager.
Right now I'd hold off using amiibos or trading altogether.
I'm going on island tours for the time being.

hol up this time around you can have campers even if your town is full and you can choose who to move out????

Yes, much like in New Leaf after the Welcome amiibo update.
However, some people have been experiencing glitches with that so I'd hold off for the time being.

oh yeah i know about the new leaf amiibo update, but i should have clarified meaning a regular camper not from amiibo

and i hope they fix that glitch soon. i can't live for months with some of these villagers i got i'm sorry.

The fixed the dupe glitch in just a few days so I’m sure they’re on it!
