Man, this is not the first time we've seen stargazing...I'd love that! My boyfriend has agreed to play with me, because he can tell how much I love AC, but he's not...excited. Stargazing together might be something he'd like!

This is EXACTLY the kind of stuff I'm interested in knowing as well... if certain furniture items will have actual uses in the right settings! It would be so great to actually be able to view constellations with the telescope if placed outside. I miss the constellations feature a lot! Same way that maybe we can use an instrument directly to make a town tune or a computer to check "e-mails" (mail) instead of emptying out your mailbox. I'm over furniture just being decorative. Even if most items don't have functionality, it would be really neat if some did.

It would be really cool to stargaze at night and if the villagers can do it too, then that would be really neat. I really would like all the furniture that can be placed outside to be interact able, swings, chairs, bookshelves, cooking items, etc., basically everything. If there is an event for stargazing, then I can imagine there will be other cool events too. Hopefully the constellations will make a return. I miss them sooo much. :c

100% this! Yes!!! I wonder if Celeste will give us the telescope and there may be other ones to buy like ones that are stronger? What if Celeste will have a shop for this set up in the observatory?! As well as some celestial furniture, clothing and other goodies too ☆ﾟ︎+.ヽ(㉨ˇ๑)ﾉ☆ﾟ︎+.

I love that the telescope can be placed outside. I think it's purely ornamental though.

I hope they bring back the random shooting stars instead of posting on the bulletin board about it.

I don't know about constellations but they did have meteor showers back in New Leaf and this is what it looks like in the picture. Also, the telescope in NL wasn't usable, I believe.
