Weary of letting people in my town

I would like to broaden my friend list but i am hesitant to let people i dont know, from a random site, come to my town... I have seen a few videos of someone that goes to peoples houses and steals all their stuff, and other videos of people ruining towns. and even though i just go the game last week, i have done alot of stuff to my town and i dont want it ruined.

but, i would like to have some people that i can trust come to my town at some point, and .... i dont really know why i made this thread, i forgot where i was going with it, so.................

Well I know you from previous sites, I'm always looking for new people to add. I would never destroy someone's town or steal things from their homes.

Im with you on that, lots of people are immature, and will jump at the first opportunity to steal something or ruin a town. However, theres a lot of good people out there too, and if you dont seek new people, then you'll miss out on some great experiences.

Its a chance, but one thats worth taking. =)

If someone is in your town, and the are being distructive (chopping trees etc..) how do you get them to leave your town?

Turn off your Wii or reset it. I have had to do that twice, and it never saved anything. If you hit end party it will save the damage

Yup.
So I'm guessing when people are over at your town it's best not to do anything that you don't mind erasing.

Unless you know the people in your town. The same people are always in my town except during trades. Most of these people can be trusted to run around my town and do whatever without me having to follow them around.

Ah there is another way! Like saving in the top right corner you can click on the pen to save progress or quit which will evict everyone in your town.

The options up there are, Save or End Party. If you End Party, it saves directly after. That will save the damage

yip yip, don't like strange people in my town 2 at first
but later on i kinda found out that most people on TBT are pretty respectful to someone else's town (except one guy <_< he dropped sabres at my town) but i kinda trust everyone here in trades and stuff only with the no-running thing i sometimes put some questionmarks behind some names

I only let people I know in my town. That and they have to have a very clean reputation of not doing anything to anyones town.

I just started a new town because I haven't played all winer cause I hate the snow. I lost everything, but now I get to work to get it back But what I can't get back is my friend list So im adding everyone, but if they are not trustworthy or a hacker i will delete them.
