Hey remember me? I'm doing a project in a class and it requires me to make a website for someone but I don't have a person to make it for, so I'm asking around ( like this thread :0) So there needs to be a possibillity of you actually using this design but you don't have to. I can't make someone a website for something stupid like a gallery of their Yugioh cards but I can make one for someone who might want to make a website for a business or a band group or something, which is kinda confusing so feel free to ask in a post or email me at davesschoolemail@gmail.com. when I accept a request you can tell me colors you'd like or how you want it and I'll try my best to fufill that request. Ofcourse I'll email the project to you afterwards. Now to clarrify, I'm making a TEMPLATE, so I won't buy you a domain or anything. I'll try to post an example tomarrow or something.
Here's the project description;
Client Website Requirements
Your final project in Web Design 1 will be to pick a client and design a web-site for them. This design needs to be a complete re-design. YOU CAN?T USE ANY DESIGNS USED PREVIOUSLY (Result in a 0 for the project and F for class). Your client should be someone you are able to get in touch with in person or via email and that can respond to you in a timely manner. Contact with this client must happen outside of class. Class time will be spent on design. You must show proof of contact with your client and what they are wanting in their website (email, a list of items, etc?). Before beginning this project on Dreamweaver and Fireworks, you must make a layout on paper of what your pages will look like. This is a rough draft and plan of how you will develop this website. THIS PROJECT IS TO BE YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST WORK USING THE SKILLS YOU HAVE ACQUIRED DURING THIS CLASS. Your website will be graded based on the minimum requirements below:
A rough draft (initialed by teacher) complete before design begins.
Proof of contact with client on needs and desires of website.
A logo for the client that is visible on every page ? it should also be a link back to the home page. The logo needs to be clean and crisp (animation is optional) *This could possibly be a part of the page banner, but you would need a hotspot.
A page banner with client / company information ? should have some sort of animation
A home page that is an intro to the client / company
5+ links within the website (Index page w/ 4 other pages minimum)
2-3 links that is related to the client that goes outside of the website
Contact information clearly marked at the bottom of each page including an ?emailto? link
Website should incorporate 4 of the following:
A jump menu
Button (rollover) navigation or navigation bar ? no text links
Use of an anchors on one page
At least one image on each page
Video or sound integration
Photo gallery
Spry Asset
Font should look professional and not blend in with the background or pictures. DO NOT MAKE THE FONT TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL. Make sure to preview your work often on a web-browser.
Color scheme should look professional AND coincide with what the client wants
Website should look good on any browser, any size
You will present your website to the class on the day of the final. During your presentation, you are to take the approach that you are trying to get a group (client) to purchase your website from you, therefore you need to demonstrate the highlights of your site.
Your client site should be linked from your portfolio and the entire site should exist in its own folder.
PROJECT IS DUE ON DECEMBER 13TH. NO EXCEPTIONS.
