Hello! Glad you could come out and see my blog. You may not care in the slightest about my adventures in Dauphin, but thanks for looking around!

This week's been good for me. Except for Katrina. She hit me over the head with a pan. That was a surprise to me. In AC:WW and the original Animal Crossing, there are no pans. She's got black magic, I tell ya. I'm gonna listen to the folks who hang out around the city and not go to her shop. I don't think my skull can take much more of her pans.
My cousin (explorer's hat below, red knit hat & ball cap in other pictures) came over to Dauphin a couple of times, and we had two fishing tourneys of our own.I let him win one (he's 11, whaddya expect?), but actually lost to him in the other. My streak is 1-2. We both competed in the fishing tourneys that were going on in our towns. He won his with a 6 inch pond smelt.
When he came over last night, we had a party down in the Roost, jammin' to K.K. for almost a half-hour, and getting our daily doses of coffee in between songs. I chose Forest Life and he picked a song at random, which turned out to be Marine Song 2001. I got the bootleg for Forest Life, but he didn't get the bootleg for Marine Song 2001. Poor guy. Before he left, we raised the United States flag, a tradition that I have in all my towns.
I also caught about 10 fish for the Museum, and despite my villagers pleas, gave three fossils to Blathers as well. He's a happy bird tonight. There's more where that came from, too. With a day off tomorrow, I don't plan on sleeping much tonight. More fish for Blathers, and more money in my pocket. Happy people all around.
I did the usual during the week, you know, paying loans, gawking at the prices of furniture at GracieGrace, planting pitfalls, fishing, that kinda of stuff. But, Friday night, I went to pay off more of my loan, and put in 3,000 Bells.
I had inadvertently paid off my entire loan! On to the 120,000 Bell mortgage! And, at midnight, I went to the city to celebrate. Aren't cities supposed to be more...I dunno... lifelike at night? Not such in City Folk, no one was in the plaza and the shops were closed. The HRA was open, but the model room was roped off (who's gonna steal anything form the HRA?). The auction house (I still don't know what purpose that has...) was open, and Lloid was awake, spinning vibrantly. Does he sleep? I tried to go into the Reset Surveillance Center, but the cones were still in the center of the sidewalk. Before I left, I got a shot of the city plaza. Yes, I know that this is from about 10:00pm, and yes, I can see the bunny's ears behind the fountain.
This morning, I woke up and went outside to catch some fish. But something caught my ears as I was hooking a fish. It was Peanut and Moose, and they were arguing about something. Body odor, apparently.
I went to the city to check up on the usual things. The model room. Auction House. GracieGrace. My room had won the honor of being the model room! Do I get some type of award or something? Lyle's pretty happy at the news, too. And I had only received 2,861 points form the HRA!
Next was the Auction House. My folk guitar was the only thing up for bidding, and bidding ended on the 23rd! Was anyone bidding on my guitar? Lloid wouldn't tell me, so I'll have to wait until the 24th.
I invited my cousin over this morning, and we had coffee (I think that this is becoming a daily thing...). He yabbered on about donuts while I drank my coffee. in my 8,000 Bell king's beard. Any ideas on how to get coffee out of a white beard? No? Alright then.
The last two three things that I did this week before starting my blog were to make a snowman (the first one didn't go too well) and check the bulletin board.
That's it for the Weekly Update, be sure to check in next Sunday, January 25, for more news from Dauphin!
