Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows what this is. It looks like there are outlines of villagers in the fossil exhibit of the museum. It almost looks like we unlock villagers after donating specific fossils? There are lines on the floor leading up the walls and stopping at villager outlines. I'm just confused by this and wondering if anyone knows more

I saw it in this gameplay video at about 13:30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RmcVgdshPs

OH WAIT, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be an evolutionary tree of the animals we have in the game.

In which case, wow that's a lot of detail they thought to add o_O

And there's an open spot on the end next to the monkey for your human player to stand!!!

Not sure AC villager evolution was something I ever wanted to think about, but that's a cool detail!

Yeah, seems like a phylogenetic tree! I'm taking an evolution class right now and I think it's a nice touch haha. Love the museum so far T.T

It would be awesome if the fossils were placed in some kind of scene instead of steel surroundings.

Aw, that's really cute! I can see it might be controversial to some, but it's a sweet touch!

It looks sort of like a lineage line to me... it’s hard to tell though
