Just finished my neutral run (which I did by accident), and am now starting my True Pacifist run.

Muffet's fight is pretty tough, even if it's fun. ;o;

i've seen so many people hate undertale because they don't like its fanbase.. i mean, sure, the fanbase influences the games appearance on the internet and can make you get annoyed - but it still can't make the offline, singleplayer game itself sht. fanbase is bad =/= offline, singleplayer game is bad
also, it's not like the undertale fanbase is overly cringy or anything, they just really like the game.

undertale was good, a short but memorable indie title!
all the characters are so sweet and likeable, and the 4th wall kinda perspective gives everything a really nice touch. starting over the game for a genocide run seriously makes you feel bad, etc.

i also liked the battle system, and, man, the soundtracks.

what do you think about sans past and gaster? or the amalmagates?

I actually kind of wanted to ask people's opinions on Sans as well.

It seems that a lot of the fanbase believes that Sans has clinical depression. They say his personality (oversleeping, overeating, "lazy" so to speak) are all symptoms and the things he says in the genocide run all point to depression.
Do you personally believe that Sans is depressed?
Or do you think that Sans is just easygoing and laid-back?

If I could get some opinions on this, it would ease my mind. ;v;

its not really depressed its more like nihilistic
he knows that flowey has the power to reset the world so he just doesn't really care what happens because the world will reset anyway

It's pretty evident he's mostly given up. That sounds very hopeless imo. A positive lazy statement for that would probably be something like "yay. now i won't have to work, because there's no future. i can just laze around comfortably." I don't know whether it's actually depression or just the realistic view of things right there, but it's not a happy kind of laziness.

always seemed so down in my opinion, especially how he mentions that it's nice when Papyrus calls him out on being lazy. He cracks a lot of jokes (some people even think the blood after his death is his last attempt at a joke, with ketchup) and in my opinion that seems like the best cover up for his nihilism/depression.

That makes more sense now that I know personally what others think and not just artists drawing him crying or streamers.

Also they look like slippers in my opinion, especially when he's walking and stuff. They also match his personality.
But it seems that a lot of people think "who wears slippers with basketball shorts?" so I'm not sure.
I see white slippers, I guess it's just up to opinion until Toby says something about it. ;v;

Umm I finally finished true pacifist.

I cried.

It was just too good and fun and just made me fall in love with all the characters even more. ;o;
