what even is underkeep

like i've never heard of it before o:

when i first saw that mettaton art i thought
that it was to do with that neutral ending where mettaton becomes king and stuff
but then i saw other characters like frisk and muffet drawn like this and now i'm confused

Speaking of au's (I'm assuming that's what underkeep is?) wtf even is underfell? I know they're evil or whatever but I have no idea what the origin of it is.

I dunno what's the origin of Underfell either, all I know is that they're SUPER EDGY and Flowey is the only good one there.
