Well I go a new game.

I am so lucky. I had to restart a level because I let my healer die. So I re did it and did everything perfect but exposing my healer on one turn. She got attacked by the same guy and dodged it. From there I destroyed him.

I just got part the One Survivor chapter and I'm loving this game a lot. This game goes into 4 parts so theres a lot left to go.

Crud... I just beat Daein Unite!, (Part I Endgame) so I'm taking a break to play Galaxy and Actraiser. But Laura (the healer) and Zihark (the guy that joins with Jill and Taureno) both died. I was almost to the boss, so I didn't want to restart. Are either of these characters particularily useful later in the game?

I picked this game up on a "whim" if you will since I returned two games at TRU (I picked up two so I could get my freebie when they were offering the buy 2 get 1 free deal).

This game has been a pleasant surprise and since it's really my first "foray" into the series, I've been happy with the play mechanics thus far. While not my favorite series ever, it's been a solid game and I'm probably going to go pick up PoR for the GCN eventually.

Thanks for the recommendation Bul and it truly deserves a wider audience IMO.

I finished Part 1 with everyone alive




I used the (I'm gonna call here) wold queen to stop the robbers since I couldn't get past the archer and then I put here in the middle of the mages, knights, and boss so they could kill themselves by attacking her.

In part 2 on the first battle I'm coming across some difficulty. Someone keeps dying.

I have tried twice improving each time but it ends the same. Since I need to keep one guy alive for 8 turns I figured that I would go on the defensive. Normally this would work. The only problem is that I have Pegasus knights...weak ones (which isn't saying a lot.)

I'm probably going to send that Dragon guy around (with some medicine to heal if he doesn't have any) and keep the two girls and the bird guy (who reverts at the worst time) to protect the Serene.

This plan comes across one problem and that is it doesn't stop the boss who is stronger than his teacher.

Oh, by the way, Meg does come into play in a way. All character pretty much do.

My plan worked perfectly too. Turns out the weakest fighter/other person that isn't allowed to die, can't be hurt. Go figure.

Just made major progress in Galaxy. I think tommorow I'll try to beat Part II of Radiant Dawn. I read it's the shortest section.

EDIT: After thinking this through (And considering all the pros and cons of being compared to Bul) I've decided I will only accept my rightful place as Bul's half-brother if I get cake...
