Hello to everyone at TBT...those who remember me and those who do not.

I was procrastinating about an essay, and suddenly remembered about good old TBT...where the internet is a slightly warmer place.

I don't think I've changed too much since I've last been here. Still like Phoenix Wright, Brawl, and the like. I'm mostly waiting for summer vacation to come.

I've taken more of an intrest in my piano playing. The longer I play, the more I enjoy it. Of course, I don't exactly have any way to showcase my skills to you guys. Too technical for me.

I updated my avatar for the first time ever before coming back. It's of one of my favorite fictional characters; Major Motoko Kusanagi, from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. My signature is a quote from a particularly touching moment of the series. ...As touching as you can get in a futuristic cop show.

I hope I'll stay longer than I did before, and make it a habit. (Right after I come back from summer vacation...I leave in two weeks.)

So...who is here that still remembers me?

^_^

I remember you, and all of you. Glad to see some familiar user-names. My old sig is...actually right around here. Just wanted to see what it would look like without it. I'll put it back.

^_^

woot glad to see you back

:p

and the internet is warmer here..... if the internet is anything like a pool that is a bad thing

except it's still winter here :brrrr:

but wb =D

I remember you, don't really remember much about you, but still remember you....

But anyways, welcome back.

When I said "warmer", I generally meant "a nicer place". Which, by my experience, it is.

Apollo Justice was fun, but there was just something missing...maybe it was because Apollo's character development was "Not Phoenix", that it was hard to believe that Phoenix would be abandoned by his friends, maybe it was that there really wasn't a witness that I liked. I called the killer fairly early in every case, and none of the cases really felt "resolved" at the end. Klavier wasn't a challenge, and I felt like Apollo was being dragged along in every case, having less of a clue than he should have. And there weren't as many fun pop culture references.

The last case was a letdown, but I honestly cried a bit during the flashback trial and the Wright and Co. scenario in the investigation. (Phoenix finally saw the movie!

:'( ). The end of the game just didn't give me that "accomplished" feel that the other three did. And there was no "OBJECTION" yell at the end. Overall, it was still better than Justice For All, because 4 mediocre cases> 3 bad cases and 1 epic case. The music was pretty good, I really liked the "Guitar's Seranade", but ...I miss the old music. And I'm looking forward to the new Orchestrated PW CD coming out.

Overall game ranking:

Trials and Tribulations = Ace Attorney > Apollo Justice> Justice for All
...This post turned into a giant rant about Apollo Justice.

:p

...Thanks to everybody who welcomed and re-welcomed me back! Glad to see I'm remembered. :gyroidveryhappy:
