Before making this thread it would have looked like you were on exactly 299 bells. However, our currency includes decimals and this number gets rounded up.

You were likely somewhere between 298.5-298.9 bells rather than exactly on 299. You earned 5.5 bells by making this thread so if you try now it'll work.
