I'm ready for Thursday hahaha, gonna be staring at my Switch until it hits 9 PM directly B) it's gonna be playtime!
I gotta wait til Friday morning, haha. Going out to pick up a physical copy, assuming stores don't decide to close up by end of the week. Doubt they will, but there's always that chance.

I was initially waiting on my amazon order, but the whole delays thing got to me haha, i'm still happy with my digital decision. Regardless hope you and everyone enjoy ACNH come release : ) Definitely exciting for all!
I've resolved with my preferences that digital may be the only option in the worst case scenario. And likely the ONLY digital game I purchase, if need be. My only issue is my internet speed is GAAAAARBAGE, and if digital is an option forced on me I am NOT looking forward to the likely 8 hour download...

Understandable, I felt this way for the most part haha, I ended up giving in after giving it thought and yeah bummer about the internet speed. Normally physical is the only way for me, but I have gotten several digitals on my 3DS and they're still intact so i'll hope the same goes for AC on my Switch : )
Yeah... its not uncommon for my internet speed to drop to like .100kbs download. ISPs in my area really don't know what 'stable' means.
I'll be working until 5PM on Friday, but after work, I plan on heading to Target and buying the game in person. I wonder if they'll be making any exceptions as far as lines go for those of us who are just purchasing videogames and not a cart full of hand sanitizer and toilet paper.

Yeah that sounds rough, we have Xfinity terrible service provider but, can't beat the speed. It does go down sometimes but definitely not as bad as some other areas especially when dealing with download speeds in general. Do hope you get your Physical copy on release in that case o/ we all deserve to enjoy it before the next week rolls over haha.

Woo! If my real life is disrupted because of this virus then I can just go to my virtual game island and live with my animal friends instead! So excited for Friday. Already pre-purchased the game on the e-shop so i’m all set.

I am sooo excited! I have to wait until friday after school to play on it. So I'm going to be working hard mon-thurs with all my work so I have Friday evening free!

I’m not sure if my EB Games is doing a midnight release so I may have to wait until Friday evening after work. :c So pumped to say it releases this week. It has been a loooonnng time since New Leaf.

If you pre download the game, how much of the game typically gets downloaded to your system? I'm assuming it won't have much to download on Friday.
I wonder if Nintendos servers are going to be struggling on Friday, since New Horizons is releasing AND a lot of people will be at home due to everything going on.
I think it was easier going digital for this game for me, just because it feels like the kinda game you want to be able to access at all times.
