For the record, I don't TT and the only thing I've done to my save file is switch the timezone (but the clock is still synced on) because I wake up late nowadays and I like seeing the sun in AC as opposed to constant nighttime.

Anyway, everyone I know is getting new hybrids everyday and I seem to only be able to produce orange ones. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I have the right combinations, I water them everyday, and yet I'm still unable to produce any combination other than oranges. I have my flowers set up in front of my house with the typical checkerboard pattern from older games with a fence around them, and today I woke up with nothing.

I'm following the guides, but I really don't know if I'm just doing this wrong or if I've been horrendously unlucky for the past 9 days. What gardens do you guys have set up that work? I'd love some advice!

I think that's just you being unlucky -- usually with me, they just randomly spawn even when I just have ONE of each of the flowers for the combination. I even have some growing from just one of the same flower.

Same. I haven't gotten hybrids either. Been trying to get some lily hybrids. I have the flowers laid out in the correct layout. I'm watering them every day. I also intentionally am watering no other flowers on my island, in case that matters. Nothing. They don't even spawn flowers every day, but when they do, so far it's all been normal colors. :(

I had 2 pink cosmos this morning to go with a couple white and a red of various types.

I find that pink and orange spawn a lot easier than blue. I only just got my first blue today, and that was after yesterday when I forcibly separated nearly all of my orange-spawning combos and refused to water them.

I think if you plant them in the sand they can't spawn more.

Unlucky +1 For me though pink + oranges are the most common spawns and I've been using the 3x3 pattern.

Wait! Green Mums don't exist? I need to stop reading the articles "journalists" are posting online about Animal Crossing guides and stick to official and unofficial Animal Crossing sites.

I believe there are green mums? FlwMumGreen.png

They do, I have some. They come from 2 purples. This chart is bad.
