What Animal Crossing song do you think is underrated?

i’m not sure if you’re only asking about hourly/event music, but hypno k.k. was the first song to come to mind. i don’t see it get much love or used a lot, but it’s one of my top 5 k.k. slider songs! aika village in new leaf is what really made me love it, and it reminds me of some great memories. i can’t listen to it too late at night, though; gives me the chills.

in terms of hourly music, i’d say new horizons’ 5am track. i know some people don’t really care for new horizons’ OST in general (i’m one of those people to a degree. i don’t hate it by any means, but it doesn’t wow me either), but the 5am track is really pretty and calming to listen to. it deserves more love imo. :’)

K.K. Folk, K.K. Steppe, and Lucky K.K. come to mind. Those are my favorites (along with Go K.K. Rider but it seems popular enough), and I don't see a lot of people talking about them. When people hear "K.K. song" they usually think of the popular ones like Bubblegum K.K., and it's almost like they forget the more 'niche' ones exist. ; ;

Oh yeah, this! You know, I only recently found out there was background music there. I usually played with low volume, so I guess I missed out on that.
Also, K.K. Groove. That song is awesome!
