What antivirus do you use? i use norton and i think its pretty good, although when i mention it to other people they just look at me like im some kind of internet pleb. i've heard that people just use the default windows defender but i personally would never try that.

so which ones do you guys use?

I use AVG free and I like it! It is easy to use and seems to do its job. Plus it is free. ;)

I've been using Avira Antivirus ever since AVG Free tried bricking my old laptop with shoddy updates. No complaints with it and honestly you could survive off Windows Defender so long as you're not visiting those kinds of websites.

Think I had Avira before on some laptop.. tbh most are better than Norton on doing their job. Yeah I have Norton bc dad forced it on it when we bought it so. Well I don't have to pay for it but tbh...

nothing besides windows defender atm, which is probably a bad thing. i'm planning on downloading avira pretty soon though

Malwarebytes free. every other free antivirus I could get couldn't find a virus on my PC but it was pretty obvious someone got one on it (not me, I know how to avoid that ****). In desperation I downloaded Malwarebytes and it found it pretty quickly.

My mum has Norton. Last month her laptop screwed up. Once that was sorted, Norton wanted to update, so it just uninstalled itself for whatever reason instead. It then took about an hour to put it back on because it's a massive PoS.

My Grandad also swears by it because "you have to pay for it, therefore it must be better". Indeed, it is better, because included in that pricetag his grandson turns up free of charge despite having better things to do than to fix whatever Norton failed to prevent again.

On this MacBook Air I use I don't have one, but our Windows computers all have Avast, with the exception of the ones that run Windows 10.
I can't believe we've had our Windows XP computer for 13 years now...

I have white blood cells. That's a powerful antivirus.

Oh wait, is this about computers? I have Norton on my laptop, and my other devices are Apple products.

I pay for Norton. It helped my PC out a few years ago when I got bugged trying to stream something

norton. my husband buys the year subscription to it and it works fine c: I also have downloaded on my laptop malwarebytes (free version) and it works really well

I probably would pull a funny face at Norton security too ;) just because I used to have it years ago and my computer still managed to get a virus. I just really don't trust it. I use Mcaffee? (Think that's how it's spelt) and never had any problems with it. The Windows defender is useless. In between my anti virus running out and me being bothered to get another expensive one, I was using that. All my emails were hacked. It was terrible, they sent out spam scam emails to everybody on my contact list and then sent everybody my email details.

avast lol i use yhe free version. recently signed up my email again (u have to do it once a year) and i realized that i've been using it for over 5 years lmao...

I use super anti spyware even tho idk if that even counts as an antivirus, and it's not even on, I just turn it on once every 2 weeks when I decide to clean my pc
