I'm such a newb for asking, but what are bells on tbt? I know what they are on-game but here im confused?

You can use them to buy villagers, buy furniture sets, or hybrids, etc. You can basically use them to buy anything you want on here. You can also sell stuff for bells.
It's an alternative for in-game bells; 100TBT=roughly around 20 mil in-game bells in Animal Crossing.
